Hi love your video on capuncine bags I’m I’m aiming for a bb size . Coz I’m petit. One thing I want to know when wearing the bag is the flap easy to open and close . Easy access. . Thanks

What a great video and superb vlog! I have a GM Capucines purchased in 2014 and haven't used it and discovered that all the glazing melted. Am also aware of the problem with the 2013-2014 glazing issues and recall which I however have missed. I brought my Capucines to LV and said they couldn't repair it although my bag is in perfect condition beyond the melted glazing. They offered to replace my Capucines today 2023 with a new one but the problem is they could only replace it with the MM size as the GM is not available anymore. Any advise? Would kindly appreciate your expert professional opinion. Thanks.

@@victoria_8817 Still haven't taken the plunge and I still can't decide!! At first I was really set on the PM but I think I'm warming more to the BB. Of course, if I won the lottery I'd buy both in a flash - but that's just wishful thinking!

does LV uses gold hardware in MM size capucine or is it only silver , then does it have a marking or sign inside for authenticity ,thank you

Hmmm, personally I'd go with the PM and find another bag for a laptop. These bags are amazing but super heavy. I much prefer the LV OnTheGo tote bag for carrying my laptop, and capucines to smarten up an outfit. Hope this helps :) Let me know what you decide to do.

Great video! Who ever owned those bags didn't take good care of them. I own the PM size and it has no slouching at all. The mm size is way to big in my opinion. The bb is cute! But the pm is perfect! Because I own it of course!😆

What’s your take on the flap cover of the bag. Is not a con… I haven’t tried the bag onsite . I just want your opinion on the flap. I had a lady Dior d lite which has a flap too and I had to return coz it was hassle for me to take staff in and out of the bag. Maybe because the Dior flap is so sturdy. Can you share your opinion on the capucine flap. Thanks

It’s definitely a little frustrating but it’s fairly easy to move out the way. I’d say the lady Dior flap on some version feels stiffer than the capucines, but if it did annoy you then the capucines may also annoy you. I love this bag mostly for its looks

They are often printed on the inside back pocket to one of the sides. How old is the bag? It’s it’s made after 2021 it’ll have a chip not a code

Now they have new size chart. I don’t see PM size no more. MM size is much smaller than use to be. New BB is 10.6 x 8.3 x 3.9 inches and MM is 12.4 x 7.9 x 4.3 inches.

BB looks better

Damn, she has 3 and i can’t even afford one.

For the price I rather pay $1-2K more for a Chanel caviar medium flap. The capucines leather looks like it is easily dented or used. It doesn’t look Long lasting at all. But then if anyone wants to buy this bag, the resale route is better as it doesn’t hold its value and can be up to 40% off retail.
