I vote Cappucines. It feels like the round handle might be more comfortable to carry. Plus, the design of Cappucines looks more modern to me. I am waiting for LV to make the Cappucines in faux tortoise shell handle with box leather in bb size. They have this in MM size already. It looks very nice.

Was recently looking at the LV Wicker Capucine. I can’t imagine getting my money’s worth but might want to sell a few bags to get closer to my goal of 7-11 😅 I love your sweater / top in this video. Do you remember where you purchased? Thanks, & Happy Holidays❣️🤗

Love the detailed review. I have the medium Lady Dior and love it for its elegance and timeless style. I’ve tried out the Capucines but just don’t like the weight and the thickness of the leather. It’s beautiful in the mini size.

Thank you. The Capucines is a ‘beast’ of a bag the leather is super thick it’s bullet proof! Glad you like the Lady Dior.

Thank you again Anesu for a wonderful video. I have been obsessed with the lady dior small ABC in lambskin because it is elegant. The only con is the lambskin is so prone to scratches, I am still debating if I should still go ahead and buy one.

So true, I totally agree with with you. I would like to hear your thoughts about Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels' Perlée bracelets. In my opinion they are also overpriced! What brand in your opinion would be an alternative, focused more on quality and under the raider? Thanks

Thank you. You are right they are overpriced and a lot of hype! I’ve briefly mentioned them in the past I think it was this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/c5-TkqmNoazblJM.html and suggested alternate brands. I’ve scheduled a couple of videos discussing jewellery brands later this year with a good number of solid brands.

Now a days I considered the bags hardware a lot more, I now alway ask the SA what is the warranty on them and how replaceable are they? Because with edge paint and leather discoloration it can be fix one way or another but BAD hardware is bad hardware. I have had LV bags hardware turn green after a few years and have to have them repaired because apparently they are brass. I have had Chanel lock hardware scratched so badly after months I have to also have them repaired.

Hardware is important and turning another colour is a nightmare situation to be in! Hear, hear to being discerning about your purchases.

Capucines has been on my radar since day 1 when it came out. But unfortunately I have never pulled the trigger as I always spot some crease on the bag even if it’s new at the store. Later those bags found on the 2nd hand market were saggy and it loses its shape easily. Only the mini size is safe from shape lost but it’s too small and the creases persist on the mini size too. I just got my lady Dior bag in small size as that’s the best size for crossbody and it’s not too small. Currently with the price increase, I feel that even lady Dior bags are too expensive to buy from store. Perhaps going 2nd hand is better in my opinion.

Aargh the crease! What do you like about the lady Dior?

Personal preference - the Lady Dior. I prefer the turned edges, the quilting, the leather, the only con to me is the hardware getting scratched quite easily (but can be overlooked by me). While I like the shape of Capucines, the greatest con to me is that it does hold its shape as well as the Lady Dior, from the second hand market - many Capucines has some form of crease (usually a shadow) at the 3rd quarter down the bag or right below the lock. Also the leather used is too thick in my opinion, that reduces its elegance, lastly the cover - cos it shows gaps at both sides of the bag, the ornate hoops for the hand carry strap is kind of too sturdy looking for me. Anyhow, if I were to own a Capucines - only the mini will do for me. But if it’s the Lady Dior - any sizes will do for me.

The Capucines leather is a beast! You will not get a bullet through it. I’ll going to talk about an alternate bag (new brand) to the Lady Dior later in the year, I wonder what you will think of it.

@@SoAnesu I had managed to view and touch the bags at Delvaux and Moynat In person and yet to see a Velextra bag, can you do a video comparing the quality of the 3 brands together? Love watching your videos discussing the various brands and the various aspects of quality.

I agree with your analysis as I also feel that the capucines have various creases especially right below the logo and also as long as it’s the taurillon leather, even with the minis, they will have creases over time. It’s better to stay away from taurillon leather and consider other leather types if you hate any forms of crease on the capucines.

Did you buy the Capucine? Would you consider another brand that’s not as well not, similar design, not as expensive but better quality than the Capucine?

I personally prefer Valextra, I have the Iside medium in black, and I love it! I want to add more to my collection. Maybe a good alternative to the Lady Dior could be the Affresco Baby or the Venise Baby by Dellaluna which is more under the radar.

Yay a Valextra fan. Few and far between. The brand is coming up again soon. I’m not too sure if it’s you who introduced me to Dellaluna last year? I haven’t made it to Italy yet but will talk about the brand as soon as I do. I did notice the similarity from the website between the Lady Dior and Affresco Baby - shhh please don’t give away content ideas 😆

@@SoAnesu I discovered Valextra some years ago, and after visiting their flagship store in Milan I fell in love with the brand. As you have described it before, their high quality, attention to detail, craftsmanship and the materials used in their bags are really superior. I just love it! Yes, it was me who told you about Dellaluna😄. I would much appreciate your opinion about the brand when you have the opportunity to talk about it. I look forward to the upcoming videos!
