Yeah, you could but, really there's much more practical and much less expensive ways to build a simple and reliable generator. I built one for a friend using an old 8hp Briggs& Straton horizontal shaft engine, a used 90amp alternator for a truck, a good used 850cca car battery and 4000 watt 12DC to 110AC inverter. You don't HAVE TO have the battery but I did because I ran it through his breaker panel to power the hole house cuz it helps when there is a sudden high current draw like the A/C coming on or starting the clothes dryer or microwave. You can use parts with different specs for your needs. Hope this helps.

That had to have taken hundreds of hours! Very cool! I know from manufacturing parts what that took. Fixtures work holding and cad time! Nice job! Thanks for sharing

It’s very smooth considering the smoke coming out of the intake it’s shod be bak firing sound but must be dubbed over as its sound 2 smomoth to be coming from a v12 that’s backfiring not the smoke coming from the Carburettor

Now I want that engine on my leaf blower!!!

I wonder what a proper exhaust setup would sound like on these little engines, id imagine improved scavenging would benefit the small intake quite a bit too. With a properly made exhaust setup, it can scavenge enough to somewhat "supercharge" the intake because it makes more vacuum in the combustion chamber. I could see that being a huge benefit and I don't really see anyone making an actual exhaust setup for these with nice headers and x pipe to muffler or what ever.
