Part 1 of the Jetstream Adventure Boats mini jet boat build. This kit is going to be a total of 14 feet overall length with swim grid, 4 seater engine cover, 1/4" hull, 1/8" sides, full 1/2" UHMW on bottom and side chines, lexan walk through front window, powered by Seadoo 260 Supercharged rotax motor.

It’s awesome man, they are so cool, where I live not many people are building them and the ones that are around here are brutally butchered lol. I’m building a 10 footer and I just found a 300 supercharged seadoo motor for it so I’m super jacked for that!
I ordered the exact same kit and specs, should be ready for pickup anyday. Looking forward to the build videos as I start in on mine you'll be a little ahead along the way. Kelowna BC

As a professional welder and fabricator. You guys did a great job! Nice damn welds too. Those little miller boxes dont fuck around :) If your jigsaw has adjustable cut "throw" put it to the lowest setting and it will cut metal much better. On thick stuff {1/4" skid plates} we just use a circular saw. Cuts it like butter.

Yeah the millers are super nice, auto setting is super easy when you're starting out and don't know anything haha. Thanks for the tips too!

What filler wire are you welding with?
To make the aluminum plate frame pattern, use an application, right?
What wire are you welding with 5356 or 4043?
Check out Half Cut Garage for extra BRACING of the hull! Well worth it!
What do you figure total time was in hours for welding this start to finish? Had a guy approach me about building this for him from the kit, but have no idea for a quote haha

you guys should tag weld the part first and then finish the weld otherwise, i think there would be distortion mis alignment problem. Am I wrong?
