Mini Jet Boat Build | Part 5 | Jetstream 12' Buccaneer

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this episode of the Jetstream Mini Jetboat build we tear apart the 2012 Seadoo RXP 260 hp and start installing it into the fully welded hull. From making motor mounts to aligning the engine, working on the plumbing for all the water and coolant lines going to the intercooler, heat exchanger and exhaust manifold. Finish floor bracing and start working and welding up the helm. Using a Miller 220 Multimatic running Tig and Mig welding.
This kit is going to be a total of 14 feet overall length with swim grid, 4 seater engine cover, 1/4" hull, 1/8" sides, full 1/2" UHMW on bottom and side chines, lexan walk through front window, powered by Seadoo 260 horsepower Supercharged rotax motor.
Be sure to check out part 6 where we finish the build!

    How many hours do you figure you have in the build? How much of that is welding and grinding time? Thanks for the great video!

  • @LoganPehota

    @LoganPehota

    Too many... if your competent welder you could finish the hull in a week, and the rest really depends how close you pay attention to the details. Over all for us I'd say we've put like 500 hours in maybe, hard to say for sure

    Im hoping you see this but I have the same setup as you. You obviously took apart the IBR bucket and arm (which is hull mounted) and then later on I see you had a limp mode from having it disconnected. How did you fix that? and I also see that you're using a different bucket/steering nozzle?

  • @LoganPehota

    Hey man, yeah the stock bucket ibr system from the seadoo just wasn't going to work for us so we deleted it and had to get a "DashPac IBR DELETE FOR ALL SUPERCHARGED SEA DOO IBR SKIS" from 4tec-performance. And then also just ordered a regular nozzle and bucket set up from eBay
