hey mate, i loved watching this video, night + ambient lights!!! Do you know if the ambient light inside the car (i mean at the handlebars and at the feet) is it standard in all mini? or is it an extra thing that i need to pay extra ?

it's heavy, much heavier than for example VW group models. I do love it that way it's easier to be precise and smooth, but takes some time to get used to it after driving light clutch cars

Not really if you listen to music. Wind sound because the shape of the car is more pronounced than tire noise

someone said that 1.5 litre engine makes vibration to the steering wheel or dash board, is there any at all? (honestly)

Nope, haven’t experienced it. Drove many 3-cilinder cars as I also work as car journalist in Croatian car magazine, and some smaller engines with 3-cilinder tend to be shaky at iddle and do that, but here - nope. You really can’t say it’s just a 1,5-liter 3-cilinder engine, they did a great job with it. This engine also has a lot of potential as it is in the i8 where it produces over 200 HP

I love your MINI videos. I want to buy one soon, so I'm always looking for info and of course an inside view. I wonder how long is passed since you had order your MINI to your dealership and get it? thanks in advance!

hello mate, glad you like it :) Well I placed an order and it here in Croatia we have special Race Edition that has all the options that I wanted: LED lights, big navigation, sport seats, ambient light & MINI Excitment pack, 17" wheels and driving modes. Those were the things that I wanted on mine, and Race Edition models have that and few of them were available ASAP and I found my spec (black on black) among those so it was really quick. As soon as my finance papers were done, I was able to collect it (about 4 weeks since I ordered and payed deposit to the actual collection day). But if you order it (if they don't have it "on stock" I think it's about 3 months wait. Hope this helps and hope you get one :) If you have some other questions feel free to ask :)

Hello, so there was a special offer going on in MINI dealership and I got an extra discount on that so in the end the price was around 24.900€ , which is great price considering in Croatia we have huge taxes (we pay two taxes, one classic tax and other based on CO2 emmision)

25 thousand, nice, but is it even worth it to get a Mini nowadays when you can get a Tesla 3 (with government subsidies) for pretty much the same price? also, are minis reliable? I've heard many americans complain about how often you'd have to repair it, but i feel like the market here in Europe is different. here's a question for these cold winter days though - is it true that you can set minis to heat up before turning them on via the phone app?

@@albanberg2801 well in Croatia we don't have Tesla dealership and also charging network is very bad. I also travel a lot (I go to Monaco, Geneva, Italy etc. which are 1000km+ roadtrips where I prefer petrol engine as I don't need to worry about charging and I also enjoy it more:) This engine is very reliable, it is also in other BMW model (3 Series entry petrol is this one, also 1 Series entry petrol engine is this one), no no worries on that. Speaking of the heating - not sure I can do that, I do have an app on my phone but I can only check the fuel, km, range, and I can start the navigation from my phone which can be easier when you go on trips (just press in on the phone and when you enter the car it starts route guidance)

oh now I understand. So you need to go on MY MINI (on the infotainment) and then go to display settings and there you can activate it (if you have MINI Visual boost, so if it changes color for example when you turn on the volume than you can also get it to be a rev counter). Will go in my car today and tell you the step-by-step guide just remind me in the evening please :)

Awesome, base sound system is great in this car, better than some “premium” sound systems in other cars. You can also go for Harman Kardon as an option, but base is enough. I love listening to the music loud and you will love the sound

My Mini does only that what i want it to do!! YOUR Mini has got a Peugeot engine, it looks like a driving discotheque and should be called "Mini Antonov"!! Not surprised that still so many accidents happen on public roads caused by drivers playing with all their gadgets knobs, buttons and equipment provided by the manufactures which takes our "normal motoring sense" slowly completely away from us!! Happy motoring!

Next time do some research before commenting - my Mini doesn’t have Peugeot engine! Previous generation had them. This one has BMW’s 1.5 liter turbo engine that is in BMW 1 Series, new BMW 3 Series, BMW i8 :)
