Thanks very much. I have a 2020 F56 but this has been useful to me. I have used cruise control since getting the car, but not the limiter, although I do have an audible ding set for 60mph. I will, however be using it from now on. Very rarely is there anywhere to drive over 60mph.

Do all Mini's with cruise control on the wheel have it connected or was it option at time of purchase and activated. meaning there are steering wheel controls but not connected. ????

My JCW has two extra buttons to the right of the cruise control, I use them to keep a speed related safe distance from the car in front when using cruise control, but then you get some prat squeezing in between or someone driving at 50mph on the motorway and that knocks my 70mph cruising speed down as well to match the car in front while keeping a safe distance, can be infuriating.

What is the minimum speed you have to be going to turn on cruise control? In the Tesla you can turn it on when stopped- kind of scary that these features can be used to kill someone by putting them behind the wheel unconscious, tapping a few buttons, then hopping out before the car accelerates.

Hi there Anyone know how i can disable this cruise control? For some reason my gas mileage display has disappeared since a couple of days and now it just shows 11.4 mph on the display and i cant figure out how to get the mileage display back… Any help would be kindly appreciated!

Can the increment of 5mph be changed to say 3mph? Or is it factory set and unchangeable? 5mph (or 10kph) is a lot for me.

mine changes at 1kmph if i tap it lightly and 10 or 5 (cant recall rn) if i press harder

On 2018+ cars (maybe earlier cars too), the up/down buttons have two click positions, first click increments/decrements 1mph, further pressing to the second click increments/decrements 5mph. It's a lot better than my UK first generation Mini, the cruise control increments/decrements worked in kmph but displayed in mph, I hope someone at BMW/Rover got sacked for that!!!

Does the car speed up/slow down with the car in front at a set distance? I’ve only had my mini 2 days so still learning

It will only slow down and speed up if you have distance control. This will mean you have two extra buttons next to the cruise control

It's a shame that the cruise control only maintain the speed but does not stop with a sensor in case there is a car stop Infront of you
