Zombies can become drowned which can have tridents, my theory is that they can summon them at any time even before they drown. This also applies to husks.

I really hope we get some sort of reference to this series in Minecraft. Just imagine an update where you come across "Sheldon the Skeleton", and he is just chilling, doesn't attack.

Honestly, Edgar the GOAT. Bro was just a mute chad, but he became *more.* His teleportation helped the team greatly, and with him and Gary being the only ones standing at the end, he proved his bravery by both losing an eye and sacrificing himself to kill Steve.

“I always wanted to see the stars” and “The Mission, the nightmares are finally over” have the same vibe. And both made me cry!

Sheldon ventured throughout the whole series, from the Overworld, through the Nether and into the End with just half a health. If he had more he probably would have survived. Mad respect.

Besides the tv tier writing, the thing im most impressed by is the fight choreography with himself WITH weapons edited in later. Honestly deserves to be a produced thing, remade with an actual budget.

Minecraft content almost ALWAYS either neglects the Wither Skeletons, portrays them as the villians, or just straight up abuses them. But not here. And I thank you for that. Also, we need a sequel where the Wither is formed and starts destroying everything.

I actually have a theory. Barry respawned when burned by the sun but didn’t when Steve killed him.Same with the ghast in the nether. Edgar died to a bed explosion placed by himself rather than Steve, so maybe he respawned actually. Sheldon, Blaze and the rest though likely died.

@@heatherramirez6141the reason why mob heads are so hard to get was because when the mob head finally drops, the mob is considered truly dead and therefore will never respawn Sheldon in the farm died via legs and fall damage, not dead. Piglins and Wither skeleton, head off, dead. Edgar, bed explosion, head NOT off, not dead. Ghast has practically no head so not dead and same applies to blaze but with blaze rods, Blaze didn’t drop rod so not dead. Charlie dropped CD, but not decapitation, not dead.

The amount of emotion when Sheldon died was more than I have ever felt, more than I could imagine a minecraft skeleton could cause. You have truly created a masterpiece.

The unfortunate things steve will only repawn angrier than ever. also by this point it's very likely he has a backup set of diamond gear. So not matter what the mobs will still lose in the end. thus is the sad existence of a minecraft mob. This story is one of the best things I've seen in a long time.

Seeing these edited together like this, I just noticed the detail that the Blaze pre-massacre had immaculate hair, and the one post-massacre has it all scruffy and messed up. I am now even more impressed and delighted than I already was.

well, it makes sense in the lore. Willy was a witherskeleton, the only type of skeleton to posses the same health as steve (at least it takes the same number of hits to kill) and he knows the same swordfighting techniques as steve, as they are both human. the only real difference between them is in the fact that steve has a better sword.

Such an epic series. Well done my friend. So cool to see it all back to back 🎉

Genuinely a masterpiece of film. The fight scenes were satisfying to watch and surprisingly good for a single actor. The camera work, scenes, shots and everything are executed to perfection, not to mention your knowledge of the game mechanics further enhancing the quality of this video. You should definitely consider directing actual movies.

Wow, I saved this in my watchlist a long time ago, and I'm so glad I finally watched it, I think I remember seeing a shorter video about a day in the life of a zombie, but this was absolutely incredible it had captivated in a way that even marvel failed to accomplish

OH MY GOD! This thing is an absolute masterpiece. The fights looked awesome and the sad moments were really tear jerking. The fact that it's left on a bit of a Cliff hanger too it's so beautiful.

Wow, this was so poetic. So much emotion and meaning behind things.

I wish there was a bit where after leaving the nether, gary said he was thirsty from the heat, seb offers him a water bottle, gary asks where it was from (jump cut to moment when steve kills a witch in the stronghold) gary drinks the water, starts choking like crazy and turns into a drowned. At some point, wether it be when he started coughing or maybe after getting hit by steve, he could cough up the trident or something. Absolutely amazing movie, there was clearly a ton of thought put into it for what i thought was going to be a silly short film

This series was just absolutely beautiful. The cinematography, choreography of the fights and generally the story is so enjoyable! Always been waiting for the new parts... and finally it has came to an end, or has it?

Sheldon’s death shed my tears. This is a cinematic masterpiece

I literally cried because of the death of Edgar and Sheldon, it was really the best dramatic series of all the time

Wow. I just saw this in my recommended and was not expecting this level of determination and story. I thought it would be some kind of weird thing where you would basically just say what the mob does and stuff instead of an entire short film of minecraft mobs banding together to kill Steve because he had caused too much death and destruction. Also when Sheldon died, I got flashbacks to Ruben at the end of Story Mode.

I loved this series,the fact it went from a funny minecraft skit to a full on movie is phenomenal,i also loved the amount of details you put in each characters and fights,the fact that the movie ended in a cliffhanger is also quite nice.I wish i could pay to watch this

eh, cliffhanger is not the right word since if you watch all the shorts in the playlists, it basically perfectly loops back to the beginning since that's what Minecraft is all about. Well if you are playing hardcore I suppose

I am so happy this was made into a full movie. Been watching this series from the start and am soooooo glad it got the attention it deserves!🙏Thank you so much for giving us this master piece!

Okay but why is there more character development in this than most tv shows. Absolutely brilliant this needs to be animated.

This is genuinely a cinematic masterpiece, and I mean that with every fiber in my being.

Thank you I've been following this in the shorts and now you've made this far simpler for me to enjoy. I don't know why I've been so into this recently but this was perfect timing on, honestly, a perfect series in my opinion. My condolences to all of Steve's victims.

Truly a phenomenal piece of art. The writing was excellent. This was the Minecraft movie the world never had but needed. 11/10 Would Recommend

The final fight was choreographed amazingly and there was literally you fighting yourself. Truly amazing.

The writing/thought process behind the story was actually so goooooooood Instant subscribe

i will say, that leapfrog piglin attack will always be sick as hell lol. Great work on this

This has at least 3 of the greatest fight scenes in history

I love this series. It's so sad but heartwarming.

Y'know, this really reminds me of old Yogscast's Shadow of Israphel and its prequel. Minecraft protagonists noticing something weird going on in their natural world, meeting npcs that have silly gimmicks while also staying true to the game, and the serious underlying plot underneath it all. Good memories. But aside from that, god damn the compositing, lighting, and choreography by yourself was way too good lol. Glad i stuck out to see the end for this series.
