When I was 9 or 10 years old, despite having full unrestricted access to KZread (that is, when I was granted access to it), the stuff I watched was completely normal, like minecraft mod showcases, minecraft maps, minecraft survival series, etc. But never any "brainrot" content. I don't know what happened to the platform because I remember popular content being popular because it was good quality, and the terrible brain brainrot was left with so few views compared to this stuff. Maybe it was because thanks to my big brother, I already had a decent idea of what a good video was and what KZreadrs to watch, but I don't even remember this stuff popping up in my recommended, even when logged out. It seems though that nowadays, the content with the most views is simply the content made by the guy who knows better than anyone how to exploit the KZread algorithm and kids' psychology rather than the guy who dedicates hours of his life to recording his video, editing it, making it as good as possible.

@@dasunyxo7546 Exactly me too when I started watching KZread I never watched anything like this I remember watching local KZreadrs playthroughs of games I liked and those were always family friendly and never brain rot like this. It really makes me sad to see what has become of KZread.

I fucking hate this type of content, my mom used the phone to distract my brother, first it was just videos she downloaded, but know he has unfiltered internet access to KZread, i always try to filter the feed to keep this type of shit away from him, it's a bit hard to do but I'm trying my best
