Since the 1.20.2 update, the endermen can reach higher. put the endermite 2 blocks higher, make the platform the endermen spawn on 1 block higher, so they can still see/aggro the onto the endermite, place leaves on top of the "wall of leaves", so they're 3 blocks above the endermite, so that IF the endermen teleport up there, they can't reach the endermen, and then place trapdoors all the way up the side that the endermite is on, otherwise they can get onto the ones you already have, and kill the endermite .. Honestly, I did go into creative to trial and error this xD Otherwise, I would have just built another, that doesn't require the endermite, but if any of you come back here for a fix, it's doable :D

Great advice, I made these changes and it works agian now. I have however found the rates are not as good in 1.20.2 - I keep running out of endermen to kill - any ideas?!

For me, if you placed that endermite one block higher, the endermen won't be able to kill it . The endermen in my farm ended up killing the endermite when it was exactly in the spot shown in the video . But really great farm i gotta say

I know I may be a bit late but this farm is incredible. Me and my friend died 3 times while making it but it was worth it as I got all my gear back in less than half an hour so this is the best exp farm I've ever seen!

Ive gotta say, I built this in hardcore, and I thought that you would have had some overcomplicated way to make the farm, but whilst playing in hardcore mode, I am very happy to say, that I can now have a sufficent XP source

I died in my hardcore world building this farm of 150 days, I got trapped in the killing chamber with all the endermen. They erased me in a second, even with full prot 4 netherite.

@@EnergA3564 Mobs spawn spacing has something with chunks, so using less chunks should mean faster mob spawns

just some tips: -take off thorns for the endermite, I accidentally killed mine at first -make sure theres a safe enterance/exit and I reccomend a door at the exit with a sign reminding you for elytra -make sure you cannot fall into the enderman pit AT ALL, I fell in and popped 2 totems and got down to 3 hearts because of entity cramming -for the chests you can extend that platform a bit and make them double chests for a bit more storage also this worked very very well tysm for the video

This farm works incredibly. I’ve been using it for not even 2 minutes and I am already at level 45 I’d recommend if you build this to place the endermite one block higher to prevent it from being killed

absolutely incredible farm. It's not complicated in build or materials, requires no redstone, and some parts can be easily modified to suit your needs without messing with how it works. I'm enchanting so much stuff that I'm running out of lapis!

This exp farm is very efficient and very little time consuming, I got from lvl 156 to lvl 163 in abou 20 mins which is pretty insane. Love it.

Lmao i was playing in hardcire and while making the farm i angered a few endermans and they almost pushed me in the void but i luckily saved myself😢 i guess while making the farm put carpet on all the spawnable blocks

Thank you so much! This xp farm really helped me and my friend’s world. It can give you so much xp in such a short amount of time. A little tip, you can make yourself an enchanting area right beside it. Just build a small platform with your enchanting table, anvil, etc. I also suggest having sweeping edge on your sword.

this farm is insanely efficient, just been using it a few minutes and the chests are full. also the xp filled up pretty fast too, I like watching the lil orbs freak out around me until they disappear. I don't even really have a need for xp but I built this anyway because why not.

I get so many XP that my FPS Goes down from like 200 to 6, Its amazin and the enderman just keep comin without stopping thank you!

This is such a great farm. I kept dying in the nether getting quartz but this farm is making a safe and very easy way to get xp. My pearl endermite luck was just TERRIBLE though. lol

I would recommend bringing an extra 20-30 blocks because you will most likely drop some in the void I had to go back and get more blocks and it was a pain in the butt. It worked perfectly 10/10 would recommend I filled 5 small chests 1/2 of my inventory and 1/2 large chests in about 5-10 minutes

Amazing farm, thank you so much :) Like a lot of people have already said, I’d recommend placing the mite 1 block higher so the Endermen can’t kill it, and also build a chamber around you and on top because there’s a chance endermen can teleport behind and hit you

Wow, this really do work great! I did loose a couple of pickaxes and axes while building it by not respecting the endermen powers, but luckily not anything too valuable. A suggestion would be to spawnprooof the killing space as soon as possible as they are built from blocks the endermen can spawn on :) And also don't wear your best gear whilst building if youre a bit clumsy like myself, and also make a leaf roof along the path to the platform as you will undoubtfully anger the odd enderman when slaying so they don't come after you on the narrow path on the way back!

So ive built this farm at least 3 times and the time I built it today the endermen were able to kill the endermite. Im not sure if it is bc of the new 1.20.2 mob reach or not. but to fix it you just have to make the part with the rail and minecart 1 block higher then the endermen will not be able to reach it

Great but there is a lingering issue not addressed in the comments, running the latest java edition and the endermite has died 3 times now, always name tagged and in the mining cart and, he's 1 block up, the only thing I can think of entity cramming is pushing some up to damage him. Would this work still if I put another leaf block infront of the minecart specifically, I feel like that would solve it but idk about enderman aggro. Edit: I should also state I basically built a leaf barrier behind/towards where in standing, the only side that's had exposure is the mine cart side which is 1 block up from ur video, that tidbit was in the comments but just extended the farm by 10 minutes until they some how kill the mite. Going for round 4, it lasts a out 15 mins of full combat at best ATM.

I've been using this farm for a while now, but I've noticed recently that it needs an update (i think?). I've been having issues with the endermen being able to reach and kill the endermite. It appears that if you move the minecart one block further away, while still being boxed in by leaves (so long as there is still line of sight to the endermen) it still will work.

I personally prefer the more resource-expensive but more efficent one where they spawn on a platform in the sky and then fall so they are oneshot but if you don't have/don't want to farm for resouces this is still very good.

ladders aren't required if u have elytra

It took longer than I expected and alot more deaths than I wanted but other than the endermite not spawning causing me pain and sorrow it's a good guide! just make sure the endermite is one block higher than shown in the video
