This actually works in java but you have to place slabs on the top of the leaves then iron golem will spawn in the cage. Otherwise golem will spawn on the leaves

For those wondering. Bedrock would require 10 villagers, 10 beds, and 10 workstations that they can access. The rest of the build should work otherwise, except you may need to expand the leaves.

if you play bedrock and this is not working its different for bedrock edition. for bedrock you need: 20 beds 10villagers 10 fletching tables (optional profession) also make sure that each villager is connected with the fletching table in front of them and a bed.

How to turn wood into iron. Get two villagers and make one a toolsmith/weapon smith/armorer and the other a fletcher, get a load of fuel for a furnace, chop and replace trees, sell sticks to fletcher for emeralds, buy iron gear from smith, smelt gear for nuggets, craft nuggets into ingots and boom you chopped down a tree and got iron from it

In Minecraft: 🤩🤩🤩 In real life: 😱😱, ur slaving the villagers..

You have to mine “iron like that” anyway to get the hoppers. Also getting villagers is much harder then simply mining iron. While yes in the long term it gives you stacks of iron you eventually will phase out the use of iron tools and only use the iron for crafting blocks or buckets. This is better if you are on a server with a bunch of people and you can just sell all your iron.
