just built this in my hardcore world, almost died twice but persevered and now have an absolutely brilliant xp farm in my world. i came here for the build, i liked and subscribed for the brilliance of the tutorial, everything from the music, the voice, the easy to follow instructions. my applause to you good sir

I have had many tutorials that either didn't work or the instructor made the building process too confusing, but this video is perfect. The setup and process was correct and they made it super easy to understand. I really appreciate this video. I 100% left a like and subscribed.

For anyone asking if it works for bedrock, yes it does. Only thing that doesn't work is the water/lava part, you'll have to build that manually

For anyone that doesn’t know how to build it manually just ride the side of the water and continue to build straight down. Stay mindful of the bottom of the water or you will fall off the map. I tested and you can build all the way to the very bottom

100% sure he spawned in the items on hardcore. He had 16 ender pearls already, but just got monster hunter when he killed an enderman 3 minutes in. But the farm is good.

You're right, this is indeed one of the simplest yet most effective Enderman farm! I built on a multiplayer server, 1.18.1 Java. Couple of notes: - Use torches on the top platform to avoid the enderman spam until you are finished with everything. Remove torches only after you placed down the endermite, and everything else is finished. - Place double carpet on top of your leaf path, so endermen cannot teleport there. - When you attempt to spawn the endermite, place a ladder on the top block (the top part of the 1x2 hole), so you can climb out when it spawns. This way you don't have to rush the naming and mine cart placement. I personally used a regeneration potion as well, but that is a quite costly potion. - In the beginning, when you use the lava produced stone pillar, I didn't use the water to descend, as seemed too dangerous. Instead, I just stood on the stone and dug straight down until I reached the bottom (be very careful, don't destroy the very bottom stone underneath you!) There I used scaffolding, but stairs are also a good option. Once again, thank you for the tutorial! It is not just a great farm, but an excellent presentation as well!

@@fart3090 It's more like preventing endermen teleporting there. I saw endermen teleport to bottom half slabs; even if they cannot spawn there either.

Wonderful tutorial! Made it yesterday and was surprised by the XP I ended up getting. I had also ditched the dropper, observers and lever in favor of a double chest because I wanted ender pearls as well... only to find out that being there for just a few minutes produced way more pearls than I'll probably ever need lol. I had also misunderstood the part where you build a 31x31 platform, and attempted to build a platform that was way bigger than necessary. I ran out of all 21 stacks with the platform being nowhere near done and was wondering why it wasn't enough until I realized I counted wrong xD

This farm is absolutely insane, I can't even keep up with the ender pearls. One of the best farm videos out there, nice job dude.

Works great! I’ve watched several enderman just wander off the platform and fall into the void/onto the leaf path. Anyway, it’s safe to say I’m addicted to enderman farms now. I click like once and I go from level 30 to like level 35. These things are sooooo great with mending books. Also by the way, you have a very charismatic voice. The commentary is also nice even when you’re clearly just spitballing. The video was fun to watch as a result! 😊

For people who are struggling at placing the dropper like I was: You need to stay at the very far point and aim where he aims. I was trying to just aim at the point, and the dropper was always facing upwards. When I changed my distance it worked. Hope it helps!

Just finished it and went from lvl7 to lvl50 in no time flat. Fantastic build guide!

I made one of these on a modded SMP, and I'm the only one to use it as of now, since it's relatively new. But this farm is honestly the best I've ever seen! Now I can have all the level 3 enchantments and Ender Pearls that my heart desires.

As of 25-12-2021 this farm works flawlessly in patch 1.18.1 on a 3rd party hosted server. All done in Survival. Thank you for such an amazing tutorial. Extremely easy to follow and beyond efficient.

just a tip for people on the older consoles, remember it is a *small* world size where you cant build very far, you do not need 2 stacks of leaves. Also I needed to break the carpet above the rod for the enderman to go after the endermite.

crouching is your friend. Also wear a pumpkin helmet so you can look at enderman. If you accidentally hit them you can drop a bucket of water at your feet to stop the agro (the water trick may not work on both versions, but I forget the exact details of it.) You could also build a shelter that is has a 2 block air gap. The endermen get stuck. You can sit in there until you slay all the agro'd endermen. Then use scaffolding if you fall.

Great farm design! Only issue I had with this is the absolute flooding of ender pearls everywhere since the dropper can only take 1 item at a time and drops it immediately, making for super slow disposal. Other than the ender pearl flooding, by far one of the best simple enderman farms I've built yet

I recommend putting at least 2 dispensers, with only one your hoppers will fill up really quick, for each dispenser u need 2 observers so keep that in mind

Thank you so much i've been wanting to try an enderman farm in my server since my friend had one and this helped alot!

Some more optional tips I used building this farm: - You can use slabs for the top platform (3 blocks = 6 slabs, you cut the materials cost in half) just be sure you place them on the top side of the block space because otherwise endermen won't spawn - Try to get some boots with Feather Fall, enderpearl teleport damage is reduced by it and if you have bad luck (like me) and you have to spend a lot of enderpearl stacks to spawn the endermite it's a pain to eat/heal every time - DON'T USE A BOAT INSTEAD OF A MINECART, you may think it's the same thing but boats have bigger hitboxes that block endermen from falling into the trap - Place double carpets on the leaf path so endermen can't teleport there either

Man just use the blocks endermen can't pick up. Check the wiki to know what they can't pick up. Stone is the easiest one to get if you have silk touch. Just don't use glass or slabs coz that will be the worst decision of your day.

This was my first time building a ender man farm but this worked like a charm! it got me 30 levels in a minute or two. The only thing bad about this is the ender man sounds! omg they are loud when they die! lol, definitely use this took my 20 minutes to build in hardcore.

that's the mob cap, you gotta search up how you can higher that cuz I don't know how but I'm pretty sure you can actually make it higher.

I'm having trouble placing the dropper facing downwards. I collected a load of pearls before I started trying to dispose of them. Do you just aim the dropper against the upper edge of the hopper or block that you place it against?

I’m pretty sure it’s cuz ur on bedrock . I had the same problem cuz I’m on bedrock too and apparently bedrock has lower mob spawn rates

This IS the best enderman Xp farm I have ever seen in my life- good work dude 👏

I've built this farm. Some practical tips: - if you don't have enough pearls, just build a small shack in one corner of the 31x31 platform, and start eyeballing some endermen - don't break the minecart with a sweeping edge sword, because the Endermite will die - bring more blocks, some will fall - bring more name tags, just in case.. - have some rockets and Elytra on you 100% of the time, in case you fall. Fall damage only kicks in at -200, so there is plenty of time for a save

Just gonna add if u don't mind :) - don't wear thorns armor, the endermite will die - bring at least two rails to make sure it faces the right direction (you can make it work with one either way but this is a lot easier)

If your simulation distance is high, you may need to move the farm farther away from the main island as endermen can still spawn there. Otherwise, perfect. Edit: stupid autocorrect on phone

actually, the despawn distance will always be 128 blocks. The simulation distance merely sets the amount of chunks around the player that mobs have an active AI

This worked so good I will definitely will be coming back if I make more enderman farms

Does it work as good if you build it not on y=1 but on the "island surface" level? Also, can you use cobblestone instead of leaves and then just place a lot of water on it, thus also making it possible to reach the farm faster by boat?

So can I build this a little higher up to that I can build a retractable floor where the enderman land because the redstone is all under where the trapdoor platform is and you can't build under at the y level? Is there any reason I can't build the farm from the bottom 3 blocks higher (building it the same height just up 3 blocks)? Thanks! (this is b/c the enderpearl disposal method is too slow for me and the pearls build up really fast)

I've never built an enderman farm before in my life. This tutorial was super easy to follow compared to others (there's one I tried to watch that used..chunk borders??) and I've always felt so stupid not knowing how to build these super efficient farms. This tutorial is the one. Any other tutorial has never been super clear, but you explaining this farm step-by-step was so helpful.

if you are on java you can press f3+g to see them. Super useful for a lot of things, including netherite mining. Bedrock you can still use them, but you have to do math. kzread.info/dash/bejne/immllZShYpXMdcY.html tutorial for bedrock (all methods should work in java as well) minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Chunk explains it as well, but is more technical.

why do we have to build it far down and faraway from the island ? does it make any different if i start from the center island ?

For some reasoned whenever I place the lava then the water the water will just not even interact with the lava. It will flow directly next to (touching) the flowing lava but not do anything. If I place the sources next to eachother it will turn the source into obsidian then all the lava will stop and nothing else?

he must of watched a lot of mc tutorial's and took notes because he took everything that is really like effort for the creater to put in but would really help the follower in this video (build time, how much mats, putting dimensions on the screen so you dont get confused, and just little tips like that that really make a video better, great job.

After a few drop down they stop spawning at the top. Only when i kill the ones at the bottom more spawn, fix?
