8 mos later my local fleet store finally had one of each in stock. Milwaukee was still $349 tool only, Dewalt was $319 Tool, charger and battery. I ALMOST went with the Dewalt, but ended up with the Milwaukee, just because I already have multiple batteries. I do have to say, normally I'm not a big noise stickler, but dang this Milwaukee is impressive with how quiet it is.
own both and the Dewalt is way easier on the go

You are wrong about the Dewalt not being able to accept 20 V batteries. Hence, the name, flexvolt

Try it and let me know how that works out for you. The Flexvolt battery will work on the 20 Volt platform but a 20V Battery will not work in a Flexvolt tool. A 20v battery will not work with this compressor, only a flexvolt battery
Nice video bud....and I was going to get the Milwaukee because of the decibel rating, even though I'm running a all 20v dewalt set.... (too many loud firearms going off when I was a gunsmith)....but then I saw how clunky it would have been to haul around into people houses when I'm working....dewalt is compact as all hell

You cannot adjust pressure with milwaukee...you have release all pressure before adjusting....straight bullshit!! DeWalt all day!!
