I have the 60V version of the compressor which is 2.5 gal., 135 PSI, and 1.2 CFM@90PSI and can run everything from a 23 ga pin nailer through a 3-1/2” framing nailer; you just need to pace yourself to the compressor with larger guns. I love the compressor as a portable tire filler as it’s fast and capable. The new 20V compressor is only rated to 120 PSI with standard 20V batteries and 140 PSI with FlexVolt batteries and 21700 double stack 20V batteries like the 6, 8, or 10 Amp/Hr; it is about the same at 2.5 Gal., but has an extra 5 PSI with a 140 PSI max pressure, but a lower 1.0 CFM@90PSI, and that lower rate is with a FlexVolt battery. With a 5 Amp/Hr battery both max run time and CFM suffer greatly. I may get this just for the convenience of its ability to accept 20V batteries as I’m much less protective of lending those out and frankly most of my family is DeWalt so I can typically just loan out a tool, assuming it’s 20V.

Your review would have been more useful if you had tried the compressor with a framing nailer.

Would you know how to fix one? 8 have 9ne but used it about 3 times...tried to use it yesterday and it wouldn't start?

@@turdsandwicher not yet I work for a cabinet company haven't seen my supervisor to give it to him...we have a hardware/tool store that fixes our tools

I have one and hate it , eats battery’s ,loud and runs constantly Dewalt seriously needs to come up with a single battery AC adapter

Be carefull not to turn on when IF THE TANK IS NEAR HIGHER PRESSURE --- Mine would leak down most of the time - a air leak under the plastic [ I think a badly crimped hose ] , so would turn off if it would be just a few minute's - 5-10 , to avoid the noise of running & consuming battery . Turns out that this time it had not leaked - turned on the compressor , it grunted to start & died --- would not work again . Took apart to find if I could repair , has a control box & the circuit board in a potted box [ potted is when the circuit board is covered in liquid rubber of some type - so repair is not possible ] . I had only used this for about ten times . Go to see about parts --- online price was as much as the hole thing cost new . I would recommend not to buy , it really sucks to spend money on a new tool & dies in short order AND THEN YOU CAN NOT FIX --- just replace .

I’ve had one for two years now. I’m a finish carpenter and I love it and it still works. Good for handy man jobs. Ave reviewed it and gave it a thumbs down.

If it broke today would you buy another is the question I put to you? I have been looking at one for a while now. What pin guns do you use?

@@dmcn3226 I use 23 gauge and 15 gauge I’ve even ran a framing gun for light remodel. I would consider Milwaukee cordless now that they have one out. I’m still packing air tools even though I have all battery nailers.
