Milling Our Own Lumber with a Chainsaw To Save Money

Are ridiculously high lumber prices getting to you? Us too, so we're now making our own! Using a milling attachment bolted to your chainsaw, you can cut your own boards from fallen timber. Check out this video for a quick demonstration of how it's done.

    Back in the 90's I remember being part of a crew that built an entire camp out of the woods using an "Alaskan Mill" like that. We built helicopter landing decks, floatplane docks, tent pads, you name it , we built it.
