Just finished stuffing my self with your wonderful bussup shut! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I visited T & T, 15 years ago, and still crave the foods, and drinks. Tried someone else's recipe and it was such a flop, I haven't tried in 10 years. Even trekked all over New York, to purchase from the community, but I won't have to anymore, because of your recipe. Since I haven't progressed to making curried stews to eat with it, I settled for my 3 hour chili. OH! MY! GOSH! I'm in heaven! Thank you for your generosity in sharing your "secret sauce (yeast)." It's PERFECT! You even shared remedies for clapping; using a container instead. God bless you and your family. Thank you so much, again! I'm SO grateful!
made this again today and it came out even better than the last time, im the offical roti maker in my home now. thank you.........
My sister and I just used your recipe, you are a boss soft and silky
I used your recipe twice and it came out great!!. I'll be doing my own skin at home from now on
Natasha , you’re truly an excellent Chef.
Thanks for this!! I learned to make this 2 years ago from your older video!! We are U.K.-based and as my daughter has a dairy allergy we use oat milk and then trex with sunflower spread for the filling - delicious!
I followed your step and it came out perfect
Thank you so much! I have been trying to make this and my last two attempts were unsuccessful! My parathas were hard as a rock. I am going to try again using your awesome recipe 😋. I WILL get this right!!

Looks so soft. I definitely love following your recipes. I’ve tried making it but my rotis still not soft to the touch. What could I be doing wrong 😢😢 Help!!!!
A few days ago I saw another version but without the butter so earlier today I went hunting for a rolling pin and a wooden chakla but unfortunately I didn’t find the set, so the hunt continues😫 I am in Toronto Canada … it’s Tuesday Dec 26th - 9:30pm & KZread recommended your channel a few minutes ago so I am new here… anyway, I prefer your version with the butter and will be trying it this weekend and give you update on how it turned out… Shalom✌️and Agape 💕
Love from Trinidad and tobago
I’m 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 and I love this bus up shot sooo much I’m going to try making it, but what can I use as a substitute to cook it on
Thank U ❤😋
Can you use evaporated milk ?
Looking dilisious
@Trini Cooking With Natasha Girrrrllll I trying to send you my video I eh too tech savvy nah anyway I saw this yesterday and just now finished making some it came out real good you're right follow it properly and it will come out just like this thank you so much I learn a lot from you
That's what they do in Trini, Buss shots, lol
Hi Natasha...I made your recipe many times and each time was great... but if I want to put it in the fridge overnight... how long do I wait to cook after taking it out of the fridge.... thanks very much... waiting on your response
Come on Tasha, time to open up in Sando. We ready for tasty down home. ❤
I saw u lessen on your baking powder from last video ,how cone from 2 1/2 tsp to 1 1/4?
Why does my paratha always turn out tough and not very flaky? I used all purpose flour which is even tougher than cake flour. And I always rest the dough as instructed. Been making roti for decades.
Came here after the foodie nation buss up shot "flat breat" video to find real roti being made.

I don't add salt when making roti. You can add some if you like.
Where can I get the pan to put on stove
Looks amazing, I want to try it. This recipe on Facebook says all purpose flour. Does it have to be King Arthur flour? Will any bread flour work as well?
@TriniCookingwithNatasha

All purpose is best- King Arthur is the best AP flour

Hello. I would love to try this recipe out. Do you think you can give us an alternative link for amazon for the pan we can use to make this on? I understand you purchased your tawa from Trinidad. Thank you. 🙂

No Naaaaatahhhhsha! Guyanese people aren’t the only only ones who does clap the roti. My mother does it too. I have a feeling this is a dig at Althea from Metemgee so don’t go there

EXCUSE ME? I DON'T THROW SHADE AT ANYONE PERIOD! MY GUYANESE FRIEND TOLD ME THATS HOW THEY DO IT IN GUYANA AND I HAVE NEVER MET A TRINI THAT CLAPS IT. MAJORITY OF TRINIS USE THE DABALA METHOD.
