Yeah. I figure if I were to buy just the leather boxes, it would cost at least half the price of the watches.

It's an impressive watch for the price. I do have a couple of this style of watch so not for me. As far as I've heard, and this is before watching your video that's playing right now, is that the only weakness is the weakish lume. Even on a big wrist those Natos can look awkward. I have adapted all my Natos by cutting off that double pass bit and making it a single pass , it's very neat and still has the protection against a lost springbar. Now bits sticking out and the watch sits slimmer

Picked one up, super good value. Hard to beat. Only gripe is the faux leather box they come in smell like chemicals so bad I had to throw it away immediately. Nice video.

I have one of these with the arrow on the dial, it's a pretty awesome watch for the price! First thing I did was swap the strap to a nicer nato.

Got mine for sub $35.00. I'm wearing it on my wrist now and i can't believe how well it stands up to my loupe. My only fault seen, at 10x, is an uneven lume spread on my minute hand. But it's not visible to the naked eye. I love it, and the black/tan striped band isnt so bad at all. There is a way to wear nato bands single pass WITHOUT cutting anythung. I cant' describe procedures in text but there are videos! Do that simple trick and this watch sits inside your wrist.... Not really but its close A/F.😊 Cool watch, we live in good times. This is my first VH31 it's kinda creepy but ill get used to it... Got to look up videos on it's movement now🎉😂

Wearing mine at work now. The only minus to these watches is that I found the strap very cheap and uncomfortable. But an easy fix with a $4 NATO made of softer material on Alli. I actually love Hamilton watches, and own one, but I much prefer their luxury Jazzmaster line. Their Khaki line feels very under-specced for the price. I mean 50 m. of water resistance? No AR coating? This cheap watch beats that handily. Great tough little beater watch for me to wear at my industrial job.

I’m very interested. If only they had a gg-w-113 homage.

Ordered it after your tip for 35$ + 5$ via post, it arrived a couple of days ago. Mine has drilled lugs and a better grey ZULU srap, slick and thick, but I had to cut the second pass, it's too thick for a small watch like that. Unfortunately no improvements with the lume. I thought new drilled lugs are to be paired with thicker lume and I've seen promising photos. Maybe they were overexposed. Still, a clean solid watch, best under 50$, and I can't dump more than 50$ on a wrist toy jewelry, so it was the best choice overall. Lume is dim, bit if I go to sleep at midnight, I can still see it before the dawn when my cats wake me. So, 4 to 5 hours, it's ok. Thank you for the advice. Solar Seiko Prospex and GW5000U someday, but for now I have this Militado and my old B640WB-1A to go. Still no infinite laps timer in solar G-shocks, so even after a decade of use my B640WB-1A got them beat.

Update: I don't know if I'm lucky or mistaken, but it's been a week and the watch has lost only about 1/8th of a second. So, given the benefit of the doubt, it runs a second a month slow. Never have I seen such a precise quartz. On the other hand, I've seen some people claim it jumps like a 3 seconds a day? They are worried it's not an original movement inside but who knows. I haven't opened mine to check. Submerged it for a bit, no issues. Also bumped it on a doorknob. Now it has a little notch on a bezel, nothing on a crystal, the hands didn't fall off like it sometimes happens. Also I've been in the mountains a bit short of 3000 meters high. No issues. The AR coating doesn't do much in the open, unfortunately, but the thing stays readable. The lume is still weak and it quickly goes below the level of what a phone cam could catch, but the eye still can register all the hands and markers if it's pitch black dark. If there's but a bit of light, the dial is legible enough to tell the time. The crown action feels good, but I don't have much experience with screw-in crowns. When I set the time, the hands jiggle a bit back and forth, and the minute hand starts like a hair slower so it can't reach the marker when the seconds hand hits twelve. I just moved the minute hand a hair forward and that solved it. Overall the thing holds much better than some other quartz alternatives like Casio, Timex and even Bertucci (I'd buy the latter if there was a decent hands alignment). Watches like this are a gamble, it just seems I've won.

I ordered the Flieger Type-B dial version for one of my friends. A week or two maybe it will arrive. I'm really curious about it. It was 25.000 HUF (~70$) but still an awesome pricetag IMHO. My regret that there is no more Flieger Type-B dial among the 36mm version (ML02) as I have about just 6.3" (16cm) wrist. 😢Okay, black or OD green field watch dial would be fine too.🙄Yet I have a really nice Rdunae RA03 with only 34.5mm case size and I love it (but only mineral glass and 50m WR, so Militado will be a nice "toughter company" for me on more "risky days").

We generally ship it by China Post , and delivery time to European and Asian countries is about 7-12 days , and shipping cost is 5-8USD , 6USD for most .

For that money you could get a mechanical Vostok with an in house movement.

Call me weird but I like the, what we called in the UK Military the G10 watch and strap not the NATO strap. I liked it so much that I never bought any other kind of strap since 1975. I even bought a Regimental G10 strap for my Apple Watch and replaces the crappy silicon strap it came with. Back in the 60-70 there was not much of a selection for straps in Wcotland, you either got the 2 piece which was common then, or stainless steel strap which came with the Casio? Style ( cant remember the actual name?, timex maybe?). Once I joined the military it was G10 strap forever. 😂…💂‍♂️🪖⛑️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇨🇦

My khaki cracked crystal and fogged. This is stone simple. Hate to by PRC, but just bought on Amazon. Thanks for review.

They are there today 16/6/24 45 in u.s. dollars, but those 2 are the only ones that cheap. At the Miltadowatch.

The lengths that these companies go to to disguise the fact that they are Chinese is impressive. Nice to have a Seiko movement and the quality looks good. But when I looked on their website there's a BB58 clone, and I can't really stand by that kind of company if I'm honest. What are your thoughts on comparison to Timex and Seiko field watches in terms of quality?

Their both great, Timex usually has a very cheap feel to it, but then again, they are cheap 😂

A few comments here. First I own this watch. The quality of the nato strap is mediocre. The quality of the watch is excellent. Sapphire crystal, case finishing is excellent, smooth sweep Seiko quartz movement, screw down crown…I tested the water resistance in real world use and it’s fantastic. Plus I love the sterile gg-w-113 watch face. Oh, and related to this … those who say this is a Hamilton rip off….it’s not - it’s actually just a gg-w-113 design from the 1960s. And I love it. Can wear in almost all scenarios except where you may require a dress watch. Buy it and you’ll love it.

Would gladly pay a bit more for better lume

Insane value. And you can go snorkeling with them for 50usd. I actually like nato and I have the same size wrist as you do. I just use them differently. Did you try this type of installation? For that money you could buy a Vostok mechanical military watch.

Makes it look even cheaper with no name on the face.

So does the good lume cost more than rest of the the watch combined? I’m baffled why these Chinese brands don’t use decent lume, they would sell a ton more watches if the lume was decent.

Ok, this is solid value. However, I’m wearing my Hamilton khaki field mechanical watch right now and the dial, hands and case are EXACTLY the same as the watch you showed. It’s clear they ripped off Hamilton. I’m jealous of the screw-down crown since that’s one thing my Hamilton lacks and makes me hesitant to wear it when I’m kayaking or doing other activities on the water. It does disappoint me though to see how clearly they ripped off Hamilton.

They didn't rip off hamilton, both are actually a military design that was made BY MILITARY and many brands originally made watches that looked like that IF they wanted to supply the military. It was a design standard you had to follow to supply the army. Where you Hamilton gets the upper hand is the fact it was one of the original suppliers for the militar during WW2, while these guys are new.
