I don’t really do dress watches, but these are awesome. And I got zero problems with people homaging a homage watch. For me, high end luxury watches and vintage watches are fair game all day long. And congrats on being sent another watch. 👍🏼

I like that it's a homage to a homage some with respect and without edging out either of its predecessors as it is clearly going for a different customer.

2:16 one thing- it is pronounced “Ori yent”, like Far Eastern, oriental? Not “Orion t”…. And I like your reviews, not short and loud- not long and tedious. Great 👌🏻

If they made a seagull S-17 version with sapphire.... Version.... They could easily do it for well under $200. And that would be a very interesting proposition. Ticking quartz and mineral glass.... Not as appealing at all. 18mm life do look really nice in a 36mm. If you actually had one in hand you might prefer it.

They can definitely make one with better specs, but like you said it would mean an increased price. As for 18mm lugs. It’s more of a personal preference. I’ve had watches with 18mm lugs and I just don’t like it. 19mm is borderline passable for me.
