i've been her fan for the longest time and i can tell you that even before she made this cover, she was already smoking bong, shook her ass and took crazy pictures. there goes your 'i miss the old miley'. it's just that she is more comfortable now to show her true color. her attitude doesn't change, her personality remains and she still has amazing talent. nothing really changed.

Miley's an awesome talent n anything she does...very few can compete with a voice like hers! I'm 51yrs old & there's not much that she's sung...remakes & original that's not completely badass!! Almost think she could do Lynard Skynard & sound awesome!! She's done things for her career her way...like it or not she's the shit!!

I agree, she did smoke bongs etc even before but i also believe this is more her style. Its quite obvious she did everything else just to get some image. Again, im not judging that, she achieved her goal, everyone learned her name. But maybe its time to be the classy tasteful hippie she used to be.

Plus, after the 'We Can't Stop' video and all that, ppl should have expected it. Then after the first, second, and third concert went the same way, it was now the peoples choice to go, so honestly it was their own fault and her choice and doesn't matter whatever she wears, it's her body and her life and you have no right to judge. And her 'backing vocals' are amazing and temporary, she still makes her own songs and her talents are endless. Society is f*cked up and blames miley for being herself, not only miley but us all. We won't get accepted for being ourselfs and being truly happy,but we do get accepted if we act and fake a smile, ever thought of that people...? Miley is amazingly talented, her voice is so powerful, and yes she did make her mistakes, but didn't we all? Pretty good analysis Ryan, from a die hard fan of the Rolling Stones (yeah I'm really old!) stood by them as they evolved and changed over the years,sometimes not always to crazy whit their newer stuff but they kept on trucking and still are so I guess maybe they are not stuck doing music for the older fans, its there and we can always go back to it and even if Miley is a baby compared to them, well same thing applies.

Right, I don't like it, when a very talented young girl prostitutes herself just for having publicity. She could be so much more, but sells her soul for just beeing in the spotlight, no matter what the price is...

She has a way of bringing the feeling out in country music. Bob did alright...but his words through her mouth is just beautiful. I was close to tears a few times in this song.

What an utterly gorgeous version of a great song. Why havent I heard this before?

I grew up listening to her. Right from the very first Hannah Montana episode. She's the first person I looked up to. She was, is and always will be my number one. A huge part of me molded itself learning from her and I am so thankful. Those of you who actually know Miley and saw her for what she was through the years know how much a beautiful person she is.

2016, still here with her.

I'm now just discovering this old side of her and I really like it. She might not have "changed" for others but she changed for me. This is the different person than the miley now. I'd leave the now Miley alone but this is the one that I really favor. It just makes me happy seeing her like this.

I think we can all agree when we discovered this and the backyard session we knew Miley had been wronged. But everything she makes is incredible.

This girl is beautiful in any aspect, even now with all the crazy things going on her head. She's still gonna be beautiful forever.

I'm a freshman in college, so I grew up adoring Miley. I saw her in concert when I was in middle school and even now, I've never enjoyed myself more than I did that night. I'm from Kentucky, so I when I hear good country, I know it. I listen to everything, from straight edge punk to Kendrick Lamar. I can enjoy some of Miley's new stuff, but I don't feel it. When I hear stuff like this, it makes me ache for the old her. I know it sounds weird, but I was always so passionate about her and her music that it breaks my heart to see her like she is now. I don't know if she's comfortable now, or if she was then, because none of us will ever actually know -- only she will. I just don't understand.

I love how she sings it with love and respect to Mr Dylan, that guy is a legend amongst the legend, I've never loved anyone else lyrics as much as I love Dylan's, and this is one of my favorite, thank you for the rendition of this wonderful song !

I've been a huge Bob Dylan fan for so many years and I learned that a good Bob Dylan cover is when you turn the song inside out (like Miley does), otherwise it's just a remake and the original author's mark is too affecting on the whole. Great song, I think I listened to this more that I ever did to the original, which I never truly adored like the most do. Btw, it's the first song I ever entirely listened from Miley, I hope she continues on this kind of music, she clearly has the "vibe"

Talent like that doesn't ever go away. She's the same person. I do miss these kinds of emotional preformances, but she does still get emotional at concerts, I went over the summer and she cried twice.
