Yeeees sir, the vintage era of MetaZoo is over, when the new MetaZoo emerges it won’t be the same, it will be better as long as they make it a priority to fix their wrongs like filling preorders still and making things right with the original fan base, if they do that the world will be watching and everyone watching from afar will be more than happy to join the new era. I agree with your advice for everyone not to panic and start buying product in a panic and just collect what you like. These last few months are an epic moment in time that will be discussed for years to come. Even if this is all fake news by Bailey, it is still awesome being able to pick up MetaZoo product at bottom of the barrel prices. If MetaZoo is back I hope they send you a pallet of pink boxes for your bday lol.

@@ricardoblikman2676 Millions of people love cryptids and MetaZoo was on fire till management screwed up, but that management is gone. The concept of MetaZoo has crazy potential. I'm sure Topps would agree. MetaZoo needs to fix their mistakes and paid what is owed and regain the trust, then anything is possible.

Metazoo will hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy these updates, they are entertaining to watch casually. I’m not emotionally invested in Metazoo currently. I really had fun with it at its peak and playing with my friends. What the future holds we don’t know.

I wouldn’t mind seeing metazoo come back, but I can’t help but think that this whole mess of shutting down and leaving a ton of people in the dark will be hard to shake. Even if it comes back with an all new revamped look, it’ll be a bit tainted

If MetaZoo comes back and makes it a priority to fix what they did to the original fan base then it’s smooth sailing from there, but they have to do the right thing first then move forward.

I don't trust my fellow metazoo fans to report accurately on their own fandom without a way to verify it, but id love to see it come back

I haven't owned any Metazoo before, but I was genuinely excited for SCP. If it were to come back in some capacity, I'd really hope that we get something related to that. I know a lot of people love shitting on Metazoo (even me, to be fair) but it's sad to see a pretty good idea mismanaged like this before it could really get off its feet.

i think theres a chance. the way sanrio silently dropped the pink boxes at 5 n below raised a few flags for me. it felt like a middle ground sanrio reached so they can make all the money they can from the collab while metazoo's future is uncertain. theres no listing for the boxes on sanrio's site or on 5 n below. the silence and lack of bankruptcy filings is a strong note too. idk maybe im huffing on copium here but i have hope

Whatever the case, any potential buyer would need deep pockets and a suite of marketing geniuses to even have a chance of resurrecting such a toxic asset!

Bailey has some motive to say that… probably sell more of his stuff. He got caught trying to move stuff under a different name before the death so he probably took some time off and is now trying to back track and im willing to bet he is or is going to be moving stuff again under someone he has no connection to but he needs people to think things will be ok….Bailey and Mike go to dinner every week, he knows whats up, and in every cannabeast stream he is talking oh its dead, move on, and now its coming back? Bull shit baby girl just wants to make some money and he doesn’t care how he does it…..

The dumpster of Metazoo product dumped for tax purpose was for Golden Distribution. They will be able to write off the distribution costs. Metazoo is a separate company.

If it does it won't be the same. But I'll hold on to that little bit of hope. And still buying 😂 fun cards to open up on stream eventually ❤

My crazy theory: Wizards or Hazbro buys it. They finish all that’s owed. New cards come out under metazoo IP, new art, new style etc

Wasn't Bailey the same guy who lambasted and went out of his way (as he should have) to tell everyone of all the issues Metazoo had? I wouldn't doubt that he's trying to pump all the weirdo investor bros to pick up his stock that hit rock bottom.

The company spell books would hold NO VALUE in bankruptcy because of costs to store them. 1 month of storage and the cost is gone 2 months it becomes a cost to store them and they become worthless EVEN IN bankruptcy. It very SIMPLE math. Anyway have a great day all!

There's been rumors the next few sets has been done. So even if metazoo was running as normal Any artist would have no work.

I don't think it's coming back. Too much debt, upset vendors and LGS' and a fanbase that has mostly moved on. Even the IP is weak because they don't own the name of the cryptids nor the history.

What would you be buying if you purchased MetaZoo? The cryptids aren't part of the IP and only like 37 people total like Adam Ackler and Sam Sinclair. Mike and Andy burned a lot of bridges so I doubt people would want to collab with them like they did in the past. Honestly, the best part about a MZ sale right now is NSP making MetaZoo videos on KZread so I will fire up my hopium tank again lol

There's just not a lot of interest out there regarding MZ, even if it did come back I just don't see how it would matter. MZ is largely just a meme at this point, TBH. I only came along after the market crashed since I'm interested in dead CCGs and after the main sub was nuked on Reddit the replacement has like 100 people in it since the announcement - no one cares. Who would even be coming back? The biggest gameplay channels, sans Metabroz, have a few hundred subs max. The largest channels were investment/finance related but will those people really come back? Seems unlikely, to me at least...

Really doubt it. What is there to buy? The artists are gone, which were literally the entire heart and soul of MetaZoo, and no one cares about Sam Sinclair or Adam Ackler or any of the made up story characters in reality. It's only the Cryptids which aren't even their IP. If someone does buy MetaZoo, it's a suckers bet tbh, which is a really sad thing to say, but the truth. If someone does buy it and releases some cool stuff though, I'll be one of the 57 people to purchase it (aka Nightfall Topps Chrome Sapphire please)

I'm still buying. A lot of folks are. Just because you're bitter or dislike the people who created it does not take away from the art and the fact that there are still some of us collecting. Huge value or no value, I still like it and apparently there are others.

Too many bridges burnt, no LGS will carry any Metazoo IP. This isn't 2020 anymore, the hype is over, there are so much better card games out there.

I’m afraid metazoo is way too far gone to ever come back. Plus there’s basically Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue Ox in the latest MtG set, and Mothman in the recent Fallout set. So MtG is already takin all the cryptids out to chic-fil-a since Mike was too much of an disloyal broke boi to treat em right 😪

If its sports card good ol boy Jeff Wilson and that other DJ dummy i would stay FAR away and act like its still dead. People though it was a scam before 😂😂😂😂 you haven't seen nothing yet.
