Tyson bodyshots took Biggs heart Tyson has knocked out guys with 1 shot but it was off combos watch it wasnt 1 but more 3 or 4 punches he climbed the ladder body to head he chopped down the tree and the old saying kill the body the head will die.

So many times in Iron Mike's fights you see his opponent begin to throw a punch, but then get hit before ever getting close to landing their punch. Tyson was so quick with his shots.

Can we all acknowledge that gladiator entrance with all those belts around his neck, wearing black trunks no shirt,no socks, looking gargantuan! man Mike Tyson was a beast and made for TV ,must watch ,most anticipated ,crowd pleasing, world renowned at such a young age! he brought the heavyweight division the quickness of a middleweight with accuracy and power of a lion! there will never be another Mike Tyson , a coach Rooney or a trainier/coach like "Cus The Legend!"

We as human beings have it in our DNA to enjoy, and even pay for entertainment. No matter what anyone says or thinks about Mike Tyson, his entertainment factor was off the charts, arguably like no one ever before him in HW boxing, and arguably after.

Mike should have always walked in wearing all 3 belts. I never understood why he never did this again, and why other undisputed champs seldom wore all their belts at the same time. Being undisputed is such a rare feet, plus wearing all the belts at the same time just looks badass.

The reason why they don't do it it's probably because those belts are too heavy. Can you imagine Deontay Wilder having to carry those belts for 5 mins? He'd have no strength left for the fight! 🤣

This Tyson was the Tyson that should've been. Kevin Rooney in his corner, a trainer who knew how to utilise Tyson's height and skillset to the best of his advantage. Not to mention that Kevin Rooney was also experienced in the peek-a-boo style, a style not many trainers are well experienced in.

  • @irod3932

Yup. I think Tyson haters use his demise as a way to insult him. Mike was a unique fighter, under a unique system of people. . Not just any fighter could come into Cus’s gym and become a champion UNDER CUS the way that Mike did. Cus literally CREATED a fighting style. He Trained several fighters WITH THAT STYLE, & had top-notch Trainers TRAINED With That Style & READY to train a champion by the time Tyson was discovered, and when Mike walked in, He ACED his audition, and was a perfect MATCH. That team WASN’T replaceable. Emanuel Steward had success with too many fighters to count, but Cus had success with very few, because not many could fight peak a boo. Just like Cus’s style was criticized when unsuited fighters wouldn’t fight well with it, Mike Tyson himself was criticized when he was no longer fighting peak a boo, because he was the rare exception, the rare formula to perfect Cus’s Style. It required a unique fighter like Tyson, and very few could be successful fighting under Cus D’Amato.

He no doubt hit hard, but Freddie Roach once implied Klitchko hit harder due to his increased size. He went on to say that what made Mike special was his explosiveness. No doubt he was a hard hitting heavy weight, but most "punchers" just couldn't move the way he did. Holyfield and Douglas also both said they have been hit harder.

Hopefully not. There has to be some new young heavyweight guy out there on his way up who can fight almost as good, or as identical to Mike Tyson and studied everything about him as much as possible. Just like KOBE BRYANT reminded everybody of MICHAEL JORDAN, there should be some fighter out there who reminds us of Iron Mike Tyson. They say DAVID TUA was close to being the next Mike Tyson, but I haven't heard about anybody else since then.

It’s pretty clear you haven’t watched much boxing at all. Tyson is by no means the hardest or the most powerful puncher. Shavers, Foreman, Lewis, Lyle, W. Klitscho, and even Cooney punched harder. Foreman and Shavers both were significantly more powerful punchers than Tyson. Heck, I’d rank Mercer, Cooper, Morrison, and Tua on the same level as Tyson when it comes to punching power.

What a great video! Thank you! The slowing down and focusing on the mechanics of Iron Mike's devastating punches on Tyrrel is exquisite! Absolutely beautiful brutal carnage. Mike delayed koing Biggs as Biggs was a smart ass to Mike as Mike was robbed in the fight against Henry Tilman (Mike flattened Tilman with a sledge hammer overhand right in tne pros.) So Mike was set to take Tyrrel apart bit by bit in this fight as revenge and he did. Every time Biggs went back to his stool he looked much worse as he continued to feel The Iron in Mike's hands. Great video once again. Cheers.

Big azz Olympic fighter eh? This is where size and arm reach go down the drain. Around the 3rd. round you see Tyrell start to fade, the pain still hasn't set in yet, but Tyrell is no longer the confident challenger. Once we get to the 4th. round, you can see Tyrell has forgotten all about his game plan, what his trainer told him and what his corner is telling him. Now, it's all about pain and survival, he can't stand the constant pressure Iron Mike is doing, no breaks, he's in with the big boys now.

Yooo young undisputed champion, hammer with bolt no ways I still maintain you are a hero if you still to round 7 with Mike. Take that as an experience, credit and honour you as an opponent. Young Mike can hack knock within a very short space of time.

Tyrell learned a good lesson that time, never play with a lion in cage, if you enter it, be ready to kill or be killed. That hands low and jumping around versus most dangerous man on the planet wouldn't do anything good for him

The myth about Mike Tyson that some people who THINK they know boxing ascribe to is "Tyson had trouble with tall fighters". As you can see he was having no trouble with Tyrell Biggs.

Coach: “he can’t right on the phone inside” moments later, he gets right inside, and drops him with that nasty left. Tyson literally is one of the best at getting on the inside, it’s like is MO. And it makes sense, since Tyson doesn’t have good reach, get all up in their grill to eliminate that advantage.
