@Shh Shh He shot 2 undercovers because they were beating a homeless man. He got shot 5 times, went several times to prison. He made a lot for black community. He made music that we still listen to 20 years later! He had sex with a lot of women. His family environment had people like Assata Shakur. He was around tough motherfuckers like Suge - they were not playing, especially back then. He went totally fearless straight to Nas in New York. Nas and JUngle had something like 50 goons down there. He kicked the shit out of Orlando. He made all these before 26! If this is not real show us your "gangsta" way of living!

Andrew Rich you saw him do that, or you read some press release? Sounds good for selling overrated music. The only shit I liked of his was what he did with spice1. Everything else kinda sucked. Though I never made effort to listen to all of it. Biggie was the man, but he was just some fat guy with skills. He wasnt gangsta. He wasn’t a hard ass. He could rap, eat, and catch lead. People get too caught up in the personas that are used to push record sales. Remember when people thought NWA were hard gangsters from Compton? They were an assembled boy band. Not much different than the back door boys, or in stink. Joo kids on the block. They were just meant to target male groupies, instead of girls. They set the standard for wasted young black lives. Changed everything. For the worse.

j.c.m hard core metal fan; I agree with you... if you think about it tyson got all 3 WBA, WBC, and IBF titles just after 2 years as a pro, his trainer and mentor cus d`mato tried to make him independent of him but the alluring things in life got the better of him and made him lose discipline, I guess any young man in his 20`s with 400+ mil in the bank would have gone astray without any guidance, and the original cus d`mato team was fired after the spinks fight in 1988...

I dont think much of us have felt all this at once, maybe individually or in pairs but not like him out of the hood, isolated from interactions and cranky with raging hormones...raging. He admits to being young an dumb but id say he was just young and young people go through these things. The Buster Douglas story is truly inspirational but Mike got a long count in that fight and at the end of the day maybe the ref made a good call, but who knows. He is one of my all time favourite people, forget heavyweight status. Great interview and insight to Mike's professional life. But if George goes past 3 rounds. Tyson would fill pain like he never felt. George would probably break his ribs, and knock him out. My prediction Mike wins with 2 round knockout.

Mike Tyson will always be known as one of the best fighters to ever enter the ring; but listen “between the lines“ of the common narrative and you will discover a man whose greatest gift is love. No matter how impressive his record within the ring might be- Tyson’s toughest fight was to become the person he is today. In a recent interview with Joe Rogan, Tyson reflected on who he was as a youth and at the height of his professional boxing career...”That was the person I had to be to become the person I am now.” Regardless of what this world has gifted or taken from Mike Tyson when it comes to himself he’s never stopped fighting… And this is why he is a person I deeply respect.

Tyson would've gave Ali lots of problems... Think about it: Joe Frazier was Ali's nemesis and gave Ali lots of trouble. Tyson's style is similar to Joe's except Tyson is much quicker, faster, and stronger than Joe and Tyson was very hard to hit when he was trained correctly by Kevin Rooney. The young focused Mike Tyson that had confidence and had that eye of the tiger... No heavyweight of any generation would've beaten him. The man was the absolute BEST before his downfall... PERIOD!!!
