I'm sure this sounds crazy to people especially whoever read this ghat doesnt know me but the similarities and how much i can relate to him, not at all physically or what hes accomplished, but what he went through, his personality, the love he had for the people around him. All the good he did for people and even people he looked up to that ended up taking advantage of him.. from him losing the closest people to him one after another, all these things i can relate to. Im so happy he has his life together and alot of people are just now seeing what a genuine, down to earth, loving person he is

    I dunno if you can say that at that point in his life, Tyson was all over the place. Now I'd say he is showing the person he really is, fighting for charities etc. I think boxing made him into someone he didn't like, as soon as he quit you could see how much more at ease with life he was.

  • @AveSicarius

    @AveSicarius

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@ritchski1 It wasn't boxing so much as the death of Cus D'Amato and how Don King and Co corrupted Mike. He went from being a well spoken disciplined fighter who kept out of trouble, to being a monstrous man capable of terrible things to man and woman alike. Mike doesn't like the guy he was back then, but that person wasn't just him, it was everyone around him bringing out the worst through drugs and egoism. His boxing started to get worse at that time also, as a result of everything else in his life.

    The best thing about Mike Tyson is his vulnerability. He's always been so open and truthful about his life, his strengths and his weaknesses. To be a man that no one could call un-macho, but who's willing to admit what most "macho" men won't about himself, makes him courageous on a whole other level. I know that he's maybe the greatest boxer to date, but it's his inner strength that fascinates me!

    I read his autobiography, a guy got rear ended by a car which caused him to rear end the car mike's wife was driving and where mike was passenger. The guy came out and started yelling at mike's wife then went and yelled at the guy who rear ended him, mike just got out of the car and beat them both up, kicking one of them in balls and punching the other. He ended up getting charges pressed against him, settled out of court with the guys he beat up, payed them a decent amount, but ended up still getting sentenced to like 2 years or something, Mike did about 4 months in prison before JFK jr, who Mike was personal friends with, bailed him out by calling his cousin who was governor at the time. True story.

    Mike Tyson has always been plugged into the Universe/Love. These old interviews show just how enlightened Mike was then, and more so now. Mike is a soul of love and loyalty, but can be ferocious when need be. The entire planet with be better if people loved the way Mike does. This may sound crazy if you haven't followed Mike for the last 30 years, if you have, this will make sense. Such a good human and best Champ ever! 👊❤🔥

    Tyson is so smart and still he had shitty people around him most of his carrer. Arsenio saying that tyson' son looks like him at 6:30, it wasn't really his son. They fooled him. And he didn't learn anything from the buster douglas loss, still didn't train well for holyfield and lewis... Imagine if he hadn't fired trainer kevin rooney in 88... He would have been 50+0 and extremely rich til this day.

    He was actually done by 87 when he won all the world titles after becoming the champ in 86, he wanted to retire in 87-88 which was really weird, his main goal was to become the youngest heavyweight champ, it's annoying that he just didn't care anymore, he could have been the goat... I guess when cus d'mato passed away he basically fought for nothing.

    Elisa Griffith, do some research, desire washinghton accused many men of raping her and she did that to tyson because she was jealous, some days tyson would have 15 girls in a day, he didn't really care for her and she accused him of rape, she was a bad woman. Tyson even cheated on his wife robbin givens back then, there were many temptations. Robin givens exploited the situation and took his money and used him.

Take away that and Mike would have been nothing more than an average dude with a few more muscles.. Heck, he even threw it all away shortly after D'amato and Jacob etc died. Sad for him but really, Mike was lucky...

    People claim most folks don’t give him enough credit for his intelligence but I don’t think that’s true at all. Anyone who has ever listened to the guy for more than a couple of minutes always remarks how deep he’s always been. Most people who know ANYTHING about him knows how truly articulate and thoughtful he really IS. He’s still one of the most respected men in boxing and in life in general. And still VERY relevant. Amazing human being.
