Mike Shinoda and Crowd Pay Emotional Tribute to Chester Bennington (In The End)

Музыка

The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
Mike Shinoda and the Reading Festival crowd paid tribute to Chester Bennington yesterday (August 25), with an emotional rendition of Linkin Park‘s ‘In The End’
Mike Said
I want you guys to sing it so loud that Chester can hear you,” the musician told the audience. “Are you ready to do that?”
Shinoda then performed the track alone at his piano, rapping its verses and leaving the crowd to sing the choruses
Speaking of continuing to perform following Bennington’s death, Shinoda told those in attendance: “Getting up here and doing this for me is really fulfilling, and it’s really an accomplishment just to kind of get over my own anxiety about doing it again

    He died when I was at my lowest… I was in an intensive outreach program because I was so close to ending it, but couldn’t because of my daughter. Her mom abandoned her so I had to stay. I stayed because of my daughter , and when I heard he didn’t I was angry. I used it to push through it and it’s now 2024 and coming up on 7 years after that summer of 2017. Seems like yesterday. I’m still here. And don’t plan on leaving for a very long time. RIP Chester ❤

Many kids are exposed to addiction in a young through family members, neighbors, etc. You can't make them not know about it, so at least teach them how to deal with it. 4. I just wish Chester knew that even though he didn't know us, we LOVED him so very much and his absence in our lives now leaves such a deep hole of sadness. It will never heal, but we'll keep holding on for him. In honour of him.

    2017 was the worst year of my life. I lost my dad on May and Chester passed away on July. What hurts (and still does) is the fact that my father introduced me to LP music. And now, they're gone. They both passed away at age 41. If I have the chance to save two people, it would be my dad and Chester.

I understand that now..... do t make it any easier and now he's not here for me like he was u worry.....I'm not religious.... but I okay he has found peace.... am ashamed of all the human race that death was his only escape.... I just found this in 2021. I hadn’t thought about Chester Bennington in the four years since he commuted suicide(which was a shock to all of us) and I didn’t know there were tribute concerts for him. This is wonderful that Mike Shinoda was able to do this. I was crying as I watched this, and I realize we are dealing with some type of awful shit in our lives. Chester knew that most of all.

And now that he's been gone, it's made me reflect on how much the music changed me, not only as a person, but as someone who should look for mental illness in others. Sorry if that was explained weirdly. Thank you Chester.
