In some cases, for example on "Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e", the MIDI option is not directly available.
You must open device settings and enable "Developer options".
Check the link below to learn how to do it.

Once "Developer mode" is active, you must find "USB configuration” or “USB configuration by default” or “Select USB settings”
Find and select MIDI.

On KZread everything works so nicely...I have a new Samsung A8 tablet...and to my dismay there's absolutely no MIDI funktion, not even USB settings or anything, only Bluetooth and WIFI settings, no USB. On my Motorola E7 I still see the USB-MIDI settings when I plug in for charging, not so on the A8, not a sign of MIDI, despite I have Cubase on it, I wanted to use it as a sequencer...I just can't believe it what they have done to it, I don't know if it Samsung or the Android 12 that screwed up everything and now it's NOT implemented any more, this is just surreal. Even on the mobile it stopped working after the updates, before that it worked, I used a USB-MIDI cable with adapter to and from the mobile (Cubase) and it worked...and stopped working after the forced Android updates...
