Control surfaces for your DAW can be very expensive and what you get for your money doesn't always fit with the way you want to work. If you have an Android tablet, you can download the Daw-It app from the Google Play store and configure multiple faders and control buttons to make your DAW easier to work with - your way.

Thanks for the heads up. At this point, it's silly not to get into these Android controllers. The tablets and software are so cheap and offer so much. I moved to Sstudio One and it offers a free remote app for tracking etc. That alone for me makes a no brainer. But i will look into this app for sure. Thanks for the video.

Can you assign cc to the faders for my orchedtral automation ?
Two thumbs up! (I switched user accounts.) I'm hoping to get this working with Reaper and Surge XT. No preset for either yet...
There is no way I can connect my Galaxy S6 lite via Midi. I tried many otg cables and adapters but none work. It is already set to developer mode, usb debug and all. Any idea?
Well I tried everything I can but it doesn't show any of your faders. Tried the KZread Tutorial from daw It ... same. I can select a Midi Port in the Tablet (Samsung Galaxy S6 tab Lite) but as soon as I follow his advices and he says ... and here now you have already a preset.... nothing is on my keys visible in the app. What is going here? :/

I downloaded the app which is free. but configure the CC, I don't know how to do it...

Idk what is about exactly but you need to switch connection to "midi connection"

daw does a great job as a control... yes - it glitches once in a while... but still does a good job.
