I have watched both teams play in person this season (I am a MTSU student). Fantastic performance in the first half by MTSU. LSU decided to turn on the jets the second half and even the BS calls by the refs in the third quarter for LSU wouldn’t have explained how Flau’jae decided to wake up and play out of her mind and how Mikaylah Williams decided to play like she did before the in conference games started. Credit to those 2 players. Much respect for Coach Mulkey. Great season Lady Raiders! Courtney, Savannah, you will be missed.

IMO, LSU has limited depth and they were ripe to be upset by a team that hadn’t loss since December. Now the ladies are rejuvenated and are a major threat to reach the Final Four.

It’s not a great fit for her. There’s no ball movement and no pick & roll to help her succeed. They could be in the paint with 2 or 3 defenders on them but they won’t pass to her for an open 3. Nobody on that team moves around, they just stand waiting for ball on the inside. For her to get looks, she either have to force and create it, or hope they pass it to her. She should have stayed at Louisville to increase her value, or went to Notre Dame or another contender that would actually let her eat. Iowa would have even been perfect, even though they kicked her team out last year. It’s Hailey senior too, so I understand her frustrations
