Her highlights in this one were kinda embarrassing. Tried to keep a ball in play and basically scooped right to a rice owl under the basket. Then completely whiffed on an easy rebound leading to second chance three pointer for Rice. 5 points that shouldnt have happened had HVL just settled down and played smart basketball.

Reese was getting worked on the blocks by Ngulefac. I am honestly not that impressed by her playing this game. She seems like a slacker. LOL. I know she had 19 rebounds and 10 points, but I can tell she is not giving it 100 percent. Maybe she is saving her energy for when they possibly play South Carolina or Iowa. The tournament looks set up to be an inevitable South Carolina/Iowa final.

LSU needs learn how to use the clock to their advantage the game is close your up 4-6 with 2-3 minutes left and every time they get possession they immediately shoot the ball instead of milking the clock they needs to do better they weakness got exposed by rice now every team they play next will be doing the 1-3-1

0:37 Big girl with the grown man move she caught the ball in the post and went too work nice footwork and spin for the bucket! LSU is undersize in the middle big girl gave them problems in the post. They need to fix there interior defense in the middle and might have problems going forward if they face a team like rice with good athletic post players. Hats off to the young lady’s at Rice they came to play and competed! Congrats to LSU they still the defending national champions and they been battle tested this year and moving forward they still got what it takes to make another run.

I just don't see it with this LSU team....Angel Reese is a great rebounder, but I swear I can't understand her offensive game she throws so much garbage up at the rim inside. Van Lith is the weak link, she can't guard any good PG and she struggles to score from the point. They are so limited in depth, I just don't see it.

LSU's coaching staff is very, very suspect. The ladies were not properly prepared for tonight. First off, Mulkey needs to be drug tested. Those two dudes dressed like dandies, the Adam's family chick, and the fat dude ( defense coordinator) don't seem serious and up to the task . The coaches for South Carolina look more regimental and serious. The LSU coaching staff seems to be living the rock star life and cought up in the LSU show. Mulkey may have to make a change for next season with her staff. A SOBER analysis needs to be done.
