@@ConquestCreations I really like the small army vs horde army scenarios, just like the one in the video, so I think the Fellowship, Thorin's Company, White Council, Radagast's Alliance or Dol Guldur vs the world :)

I have a Playlist of everyone of your battles and they are all so diverse and amazing. I love the different scenery and looks of the armies, I also love how your friends that join are so fun and interesting to watch how they play. Keep making more awesome amazing videos. I'm a bit late to this channel though.

Glad to see you fixed the thumbnail. I was quite surprised but this was a really good battle reports I will be backwatching some if the older battle reps

Hahah after spending that amount of time editing I totally messed up the 10 minute thumbnail! Thanks for the good feed back. Look out for heaps more in the future! I have a castle siege planned out

Nice vid guys! Major change could have happened if you'd checked for the Ranger charging gollum though! For the ring, the courage check is about whether you can see them, not about Courage so fearless makes no difference!

Hey Harry! Great to see that you are watching. Sean and I had a big chat about that part of the game. Rules as written the Ranger could charge because fearless says "This model automatically passes any Courage test it is required to make." But it definitely seems a bit strange. We justified it by saying that the rangers were particularly keen eyed around the banner as well as courageous

No, you definitely would still have to do a courage check. The one ring rules state "models that automatically pass courage checks would still have to test as it represents being able to see the ringbearer, not how terrifying the ringbearer is"

A massacre nonetheless , but a friendly one, the ending was on point hahaha. Cheers mate

Rangers were bit lucky with some of their rolls. Especially cluch banner rolls lol. A lot of armies struggle with the numbers. Interestingly I did and experiment game where I did 800pts of Goblin Town (not including king or Gollum, where I was testing how many goblins the big boys of the Fellowship (I.e. not the hobbits) could chew through. The fellowship broke the goblins and most started to run. Think over a number of games numbers usually do well, but proves all is not lost if you go elite.

If you have good enough troops and the right heroes you definitely don't need heaps of numbers. I have been playing heaps of hero heavy and monster heavy armies recently and have found them super strong. The main advantage that swarm lists have is they can control larger areas of the board

Hej there! Thanks for the awesome battle reports! I have a rules question regarding the Goblin Scribe! The rules state that the goblins can come from an edge chosen by the controlling player. Does that mean any point of any edge they choose or are they coming in the middle of the edge? Thanks for your work, hope you can find time to reply;):P Cheers!

Do the scribe goblins (and all reinforcements) count for your model count to keep you from breaking?

Good question! My break point is determined at the begging of the game. If I start the game with 100 models then I will break when 51 are dead. This isn't changed by bringing more goblins in with the scribe. So even if I summon 30 extra goblins as soon as 51 of my models are dead I am broken

I just had a look through the FAQ and rule book and nothing there said that it didn't. Sean and I talked a bit about it when it came up and we decided that the magic of the banner along side with the rangers keen senses helped them detect gollum

Conquest Creations just checked myself definitely says they still take the -1 per in makes no difference now like but will help you out next time good game guys in the middle of building my own goblin town atm with 2 of the trolls allied in 😊

@@ConquestCreations Models need to be able to draw line of sight to the enemy model they wish to charge, and seeing as charges are declared before a model moves it would be impossible for a goblin to declare a charge whilst off the board. It’s not written anywhere but I mean the way the rules work and the fact other models ie reinforcements can’t charge kinda says it all! I’ve played against the scribe a million times at tournaments and have never had anyone try to charge from off the board. That’s not to take away from your batrep, was enjoyable to watch and the board and armies look fantastic, I shall subscribe :)

There’s also a points consideration. The Grey Company can be fantastic, but those extra 5 points you’re paying for d5 also means one less body every 5 men, which is also one less might and two less attacks.
