Thx for the game Jacob! Great opponent as always. In terms of the game I think I made some key mistakes. Pushing forward with the cpts war band was a mistake. I should have fallen back to draw u further away with the troll. Buying myself much more time on you’re board edge with durin & utilising my cpts might. Additionally the rending error was significant in killing my cpt & during but we’ll just have to remember for next time. Overall you played a very smooth game utilising resources & list synergy well. The troll & bat combo is lethal particularly with durburz & shaman to keep everyone around after break. Great game & I look forward to the next in our three parter! I wonder what’ll happen next!

Wow, that was a nail biter! Fury and 12” stand fast is a nice combo for end game goblins, bought enough time to smush and smash poor Durin to bits =]

Shame he hasn’t answered. the videos from the earlier games in the tournament make no mention of them being tournament games anymore (in the titles)just say there battle reports so sadly I don’t think there coming back

Lovely battle report. A very close match. Thought the goblins would run away after being broken but forgot about the shaman durburz combo. I think there was one time in the game when Durin could have charged the shaman another time and keep the troll busy with the heartguard that one the fight the round before. I think I would have attacked the shaman. But thats always easy to say afterwards. Thanks for the great content. Regards from Germany

Great film! Thank you! However at 14:53 you roll twice for Rend BPA - why ?

As stated below with the no double dice on Rend is because making brutal power attacks doesn't count as making strikes, and being trapped effects strikes made vs the trapped model. Additionally Durin causes terror because of his wargear, I don't think I saw any courage tests each turn he was charged by just one guy. Justice for Dwarves!

@@ConquestCreations Did you channel the fury? Later on you call a heroic move with shaman, so there's not enough might to do both. Cool battle report though, waiting for more!

Yeah that’s the only mistake I saw to be fair. Rend can’t benefit from trapped or prone etc.

That was a crazy good battle report, had no idea which way that was going! I've always found dwarves to be insanely OP and don't think they're fun to play with or against, but that game was real good fun to watch

you cant get the benafits of trapped or prone if you use a brutal attack so in the end durin wouldn't of died

14:44 Rend is not like regular strikes, it doesn't benefit from trapped pg 77. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Are Black shields worth it? They seem kinda pricy.

There's a typo in the title

I love the Khazad army but I feel they are always somewhat doomed to fail. Fight value or numbers win and dwarves only have good defence. Would love to be wrong though!

Khazad-dum is a very solid army. And the Dwarfs do not only have great defence! The Fight value of 4 and all the "Big"Heros have 6 is not bad (but not very special). But the one thing dwarfs are great in is damage. Only the normal warriors have S3, all the "elite" units have S4, a rare thing on the good side. Also they reroll 1 when winning the fight,combined with the S4 is very good

Also most Kazad-dum army list that i have seen on this channel didn't have many Vault warden teams in it, in my beleave a huge fault. These things are realy strong ,as long you hold the flank with Kazad guard and warriors

in my experience with the khazad army ( a lot ), i don't play all elite to keep good numbers especially with low points... and i feel very good

Just a minor thing - if you enter a model's control zone, you have to charge it. You can't 'hover' to ensure the trap.

Good comments but not quite. Once a model has been charged they no longer have a control zone so you are free to hover. This is great when you need to trap models with terror

Good battle report however the dwarf player was rather aggressive in his attitude not nearly as fun to watch when one of the players is a poor sport.

I like these videos a lot but it's often the painting that makes me stop watching.
