Mid-Strolling the O.S.P Mylar Minnow! Bass fishing 101

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hello! Angler Waki here. This video introduces a popular technique in Japan, Mid-strolling, which is becoming extremely popular in the U.S., because of the success of the young Japanese prince, Kyoya Fujita. Especially after his win at the Bassmaster Elite series, I believe this technique attracts a lot of attention.
I haven’t mastered this technique yet. Consider this video a journey towards becoming a strolling master, where I share my attempts, learning process, and mistakes along the way.
Hope you enjoy the video!

Love watching your videos, seemed like your bites came after your arm tired and you slowed down the shaking of the rod, great to show how bait is to be hooked for this technique, never saw that before, thank you!

Hello Waki! I’ve found that tapping the side of the rod with my pointer finger is more effective (and comfortable) than shaking it. The “taps” present a more subtle approach for finicky fish! Awesome video!

I do good with this technique. I hold my rod up in about 10 o'clock position. Reeling slowly and barely twitching. rod tip.

Hello Waki, I was wondering where I could purchase one of those fishing satchels that I see on "Issei" videos. Even though I can't understand what they are saying, I pick up a lot of tips from them.

@@AnglerWaki that would be awesome if you could translate some of it to English. I am very much interested in Haru's knot tying techniques. I recently saw one of his videos where he was using what looked like half hitch knots to finish off another type of hook knot he tied. I couldn't really tell. Japanese is hard to learn.

I see you've been using a specific brand rod. Are you able to speak about it compared to JDM rods?
