Hello! As talented young Japanese Bass Pros achieve success on the U.S. tournament circuit, the strolling technique is gaining attention-even though it has been popular in Japan for over 20 years. In this video, I'll delve into the history and fundamental concepts of the technique.

Angler Waki Great Video! This is a great technique. I love that it has a modern twist with the side view sonar that is really making fishing for money a rich mans sport. In the early days I used a similar technique using a 1/8 oz darter jig head and a Yamamoto 6" Curly tail White/Sparkle to search for bass using the same mid-water retrieve. When I found the fish I would then employ the "Luck Rig" (AKA Drop Shot) to take advantage of the location of the schooling bass

Less is more with natural movements. The best I've seen was rod taps (taps on the rod with index finger) and line slap on the index finger as you reel.Try it! 🎉 tight lines!!

Nice episode! I've been using this technique lately for smallmouth and spotted bass. I've been using the 3.5"ers from Big Island Baits. They work great paired on a 1/8thoz ballhead jig
