Great little injection mold machine.. I need one with some serious tons of clamp pressure so I need the large floor model industrial machine. Still this small one is fascinating though, I really like it. I am in admiration of the builder of this machine including the computer control system.

Hello,will the servo motor several w? The controller is plc? Heater is a few w? Expect your answer

In real world your electric consumption is high at the beginning of the process and then barrel heats are only in 20 % rest is shear heat produced to maintain barrel heats. Injection is well known for great repeatability and steady process. In video you can see that it starts great..then you can see it got too hot - string ..I guess there is no suckback/pullback and I wonder how to maintain the shot size if there is no cushion. Overall VERY IMPRESSIVE FOR IT SMALL SIZE. YOU ARE GENIUS. Гениально, просто супер клас

Seriously is the cost of electricity such an issue? Show us more about the machine, the hardware, software, electronics. Forget about the amount of electricity used. You are majoring in a minor area.

Cost per part is the issue. Cost of electricity is next to cost of plastic when calculating cost per part. Video is impressive but part dimension consistency is not shown. Cooling like a chiller adds to the electricity cost. Would like to see that consumption also.

посмотрев данное видео - вычертил детали к подобному станку (давно мечтал иметь подобное оборудование, а то всё в ручную домкратом...), сейчас (на работе) делаю весь алюминий, токарь режет резьбу на направляющих, нашёл движки подобные и нашёл где заказать подобную шнековую пару.

Looks pretty good. For small distance (50-70mm) between tie-bars it could work without toggle lever. Didn't understood how are you moving the screw forward and injecting. Or it is just plastic intrusion with low pressure?

For most molds, a fan is sufficient, but it is possible to connect a water pump 12V 1A. Adjusting the speed from the control unit. The control unit is in English.
