MIchigan Cotten Cabin Camping | Lake Superior
I found some footage that I thought had been lost! It's from a really fun hike out to the Cotten Cabin in the Porcupine Mountains State Park in Upper Michigan. We also take a hike to the Presque Isle River and Waterfall trail where we see some gorgeous scenery.

Glad you enjoyed it! It definitely is wonderful for kids to learn to get away from it all, especially these days.

Awesome! Thank you!
Well worth putting together after the re-discovery, I had to roll back multiple times the film of the waterfalls. The words on solitude in this digital age very reflective of what we need more of.
Hello Angela! That was a truly wonderful video! The meal on the shore was breathtaking. The beauty of Superior and her surroundings, the reflection of the sun on Lake Superior (in Hungarian we call that the "arany híd" or the "golden bridge"). I now have seen the falls in both summer and winter thanks to your videos and they are beautiful anytime of year! I have a daughter that is 16 years old who I would never ever be able to get into mother nature. Yes, technology reigns supreme for the younger ones. At least you can get your son and daughter to go out with you. Please don't feel bad about them being so dependent on technology for entertainment. They both will remember these outings and as they get older, they will see how special of a time it was and both will have cherished memories of being out in nature with the greatest Mom ever! Thank you for sharing and all your hard work in creating these videos. Does editing take up the most of your time? As always, please take the very best of care and thank you again for sharing. I am so glad you found this video.

Oh also, yes the whole video process can sometimes be 10-15 hrs depending on the length and amount of clips. I really enjoy the process though I just wish I had more time. Hopefully someday this will be my only "job" doing what I love. 🙂

@@Gypsytrekker It is quite evident that you do enjoy making vids as it translates so well to the finished product! You style is so different than others making vids. You down to earth approach is you just being yourself and your voice is soft and gentle. That also conveys a great deal of sincerity in what you are doing to the videos watch ability and enjoyment. Please check your business email, I wish to send you a present, a thank you for all your hard work in making these great videos. Bye!

I have only seen your daughter once but gut feeling is you need to keep an eye on her. The older ladies I grew up around always used to say its the quiet ones you need to worry about.
The cabin is barrin and you have to hike to it. That sucks. You have to carry bedding food ect. Thats alot to haul.
