I remember when Jimmy Swaggart put Stryper down for throwing Bibles into the audience. I then sent Mr Swaggart a letter for Judging Stryper for throwing Bibles into the audience. He had no right to Judge Stryper. Stryper Is Spreading the word of God to everyone in one Huge Group at a time. I've been big fans of Stryper since 1987 its now 2017. Keep doing what God has sent y'all out to do that is keep spreading his name. Life you be so much better is everyone could be in touch with God. I send peace love and happiness to everyone

I totally agrees with you. Thanks for having had the Courage to write to Jimmy and defending your beliefs.Did you actually get a reply directly from him?(I know shortly before he was preaching hard against Christian rock in 1985 he had had a Meeting with Pastor Bob Beeman.Pastor Bob hasnt divulged too much info about how it went but I can guess there were many a disagreement to say the least!)Long live God's work in Christian hard Music!!!

God humbled Jimmy Swaggart and he was almost ruined. God tore him down and built him up again. He's still preaching and singing to this day in his eighties. His ministry led me to Jesus almost twenty years ago.

As a young teen I enjoyed New Wave and Punk! I was glad to find bands like Servant, Sweet Comfort Band, Barnabas, Petra, Stryper, and others. I'd get so angry with the televangelists who preached against them! Their lyrics taught more truth than Jimmy Swaggertt. Man, he loved to point fingers at others and then BAM!!!! Gotcha Jimmy!!! LOL!!! Loved it!!!

Silver Feather I like Stryper because of their music and Michael’s amazing voice. I’m an atheist and no, there’s no way I can turn back to be a christian. I strongly believe this is where I want to be and I am happier than ever. I love music, I love nature, I love living, animals, people and I’ve found inner peace without religion. I have respect for those who strongly believe there’s a god and I feel sorry for those who called themselves believers and carry so much hate within towards those who don’t share their beliefs. And by the way, Michael is a great guy.

I do reverse speech study. It is like your subconscious talking at the same time that you are. Like Say one thing but think another. I took the beginning of the song IN God We Trust and played that backward. It says forward "In God We Trust" but backward it says "Trust In GOD's Name" That is a time when STRYPER had not yet started have spiritual problems. Now when they did Against The Law right out of the box you could tell they were having issues spiritually. In the beginning of the song Against The Law when Robert sounds off the 1-2-3 when you play that backwards it says We Need Help. As the song goes along Michael yells "Let's Get Busy" and backward he says "It Makes Me Poor" meaning that by them "Getting Busy" they are becoming Spiritually Poor. I am doing some reverse speech videos and will post them soon. I love STRYPER but you can tell when they are having a hard time spiritually by the way they sing certain songs and the way it makes the spirit feel while listening to the music. One last thing Norm Greenbaum's song "Spirit In The Sky" is another good one. Norm's idea of Heaven was just brilliant. When he sings "When I Die And They Lay Me To Rest Gonna Go To The Place That's The Best" it says backwards "Sightseein In A Place That Is Open All Of The Time" Norm believed that Heaven was going to be kind of like a Spiritual Disneyland sort of.

Stryper mean the world to me. My second fave band of all time. Proud to have been the Prez of their Fan Club Philadelphia chapter 1988-1993. The are REAL..not fake. BTW they are one of the HEAVIEST band of all times. Swaggert used to KILL them, he was a disgraceful jerk. Also I went to 12 years catholic school (it was great but the Religion for me secondary) I was an altar boy. I tell you this NOW...I am transgender, I will NEVER step foot in a church again and when I want God .I pick up my Stryper cd's or videos or my Every Man's Bible. STRYPER are MY Priests/Pastors. My friends. As for the Church...screw that. STRYPER is Jesus to me..

Stryper are GREAT because THEY do not judge. As for the churches, LOL I HATE the church because THAT is where you get all of the gossiping and judging Christians. My catholic school used to put Stryper down. I HATE the church with a passion. Will NEVER go back..why? ALL I have to do it put on a Stryper cd. Sorry, I can't relate to Biblical figures hundreds, thousand years ago...I can relate to Stryper. Hell, my Stryper fans I cannot stand. For me it is ME and Stryper, that is it. I have done soo much work or them and they have helped me. I am transgender....I can hear so many Stryper fans now...yelling at me..

Felony Strutter I agree with you about the judging and gossiping and all the wrong that church/religion creates. It is very difficult for may people attending church to accept or even acknowledge this. But don’t hate them. Don’t carry unnecessary things in your heart. One can find compassion and inner peace and inner happiness ( which is the true happiness) without religion and someone preaching aggressively on a stage on Sunday. That just creates fear. That’s one of the many reasons I began thinking out of the box and staying away from church. Now, that set me free!. I’m a humanist now. No hate, no fear, No judging. Just in search to becoming a better person. Peace ✌️

@10:06 Sorry Mike, I DO NOT get that...the people who judged Stryper because of the hair, make up,etc...that's what I mean...ALL THEY DO IS JUDGE. I hate most Christians because that is ALL THEY DO...judge a book by its cover. They judge me...STRYPER FANS JUDGE ME. I am more close to the band and have done so much work for them...OMG, my friends used to call me the 5th member LOL LOL (I would never say that) I did so much for them and they thanked me so many times. No I do not see how Stryper could not be right on for God just because the way the dressed. I am not ignorant like those CHRISTIANS.
