I was born in 80 and I think the first flick I saw him in was Johny Dangerously. Then Mr Mom, Beetlejuice and Batman and I thought wow he's a great actor. Then I was in my late teens early twenties and saw nightshift, Gung Ho, Pacific Heights and desperate measures and gained a whole new level of appreciation of his acting especially when he plays villains. One of my favorites is multiplicity when he plays the clones because it's 2 damm funny to me 😅
One of the most under-appreciated actors of our day.

Michael Keaton is just like no one else. He seems just perfectly genuine person. And quirky, you can see that he loves what he does and sometimes is even a bit too excited to tell the stories. Absolutely an underrated actor!

Underrated means it doesn’t get enough attention or credit. Michael Keaton IS NOT UNDERRATED!! He’s considered the best Batman and is well respected in other roles. Would everybody please stop inaccurately using “underrated!”
That Batman bit was one of my favorite parts of the ceremony. Keaton didn’t say a single word and yet he owned it. He’s still got it 🦇
The ascot was 100% genius. It felt like Bruce Wayne instantly. It shows how much he understands the character.

Without throwing shade to other actors that competently played Batman, this is my Batman. Absolutely loved this moment at the Oscars. Also, the ascot and pose was a fitting tribute to Adam West.

For my money there must be no better guest that Michael Keaton... he's so engaged and present in the moment... so often these interviews feel constructed, this one felt like an easy conversation between friends... and every interview I've ever seen Michael Keaton do with ANYONE has been like this.

I remember the first time I saw Michael Keaton. It was a tv series call All’s Fair, and he was the President’s joke writer. I knew then he was ahead of his time. Another movie I loved, Multiplicity, not because of the plot,etc, but because he played four roles, and by the time he played a “copy of a copy,” you forgot completely it was him playing the part. 😂

Lanny was the character's name. I was seven or eight. Lol. Then he had a show called "Working Stiffs" with Jim Belushi.
One of the most versatile and talented actors of the last fifty years. He can flip from deadly like in Pacific Heights to a stay at home dad in Mr Mom, to a mental patient on a day trip in the Dream Team, to the best Batman. He can play any part in any genre. I have loved him from day one and have purchased most of his movies for rewatch. I love the comedies best, Gung Ho, Dream Team, Johnny Dangerously, Multiplicity, Mr Mom, Beetlejuice.

Yes, when my sons were young teens they loved Johnny Dangerously. They would play it over and over again and laugh their heads off! "It's just a kid, it's just a fargin' kid! Gimme a gun!!" These were their favorite scenes. Over the years we lost track of it but I found it in a second hand store a few years ago and bought it for my youngest son. Fond memories! Love Michael Keaton!

Michael Keaton is a class act. Love this guy.
As much as Keaton is loved, I still think he’s one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood. To be able to go from Beetlejuice to Batman, and all four versions of his character in Multiplicity, his range is incredible. He also voiced the Ken doll in Toy Story. My personal favorite is Gung-Ho.

The batman skit was fire!!!! Devito and arnold are like the new odd couple and Keaton to me was the best batman. His facial expressions are great.
That stare was one of the coolest things ever that he did, we sure love his performance, as the batman fighting the joker.

I would watch his comedy movies over and over and over again he looks incredible right now extremely healthy and useful only getting better and better- people need to produce and write Incredible material for this Man don’t give him crap. While I watched Michael's audience scene at the Oscar's, I asked someone, is he wearing an ascot? I was surprised to see it. Now I learn that it was part of his role playing wardrobe. A case of one of the greats that goes all out for all the details, regardless of the role or its size.

My fave Keaton character of all time is Billy Blazejowski from Night Shift. His entrance, singing "Jumpin' Jack Flash" with the headphones on as he walks in on Henry Winkler at the morgue is priceless, and i have to think that a lot of his lines were personally improvised. "Hey is this your girlfriend? Nice frame." :)

80s teen here and grew up to watching his films.. Michael has to be one of if not my all time favorite actor.. he is an amazing actor who can really captivate any role he plays leaving the audience captivated by his character.. I always enjoyed his work and made it a point to see any roles he was in..
