Grant Hill was a combination of Jordan talent and will power and Tim Duncan humbleness and fundamental soundness. He was very special and would have easily reached all-time greatness if not for his injuries. Still one of the best.

Grant Hill was so nice! I always knew his cross was lethal but it's little hesitation moves and the timing that really throws defenders off. It's impressive.
For me, Grant will always be one of the best players of all time!! Even if he played with his full potential for 3 - 5 years maybe less because of the freaking injuries!! So fast he could drive for the layup or dunk he could shoot the ball an awesome all-around player with a dozen of rebounds and assists in his games I thought back then that he was the hair to the Air MJ did not happen but that first year in Detroit Grant was huge!!👌👌👌👌👍👍👏👏🙌🙌🏀🏀🏀🏀
Joe Dumars was still giving Jordan hell on Defense 😂😂..
so many match ups between Hill and Pippen and unfortunately Pippen couldn't guard Hill.
Awesome rare game! Thanks for uploading!

Must’ve been frustrating for Hill to be a shell of himself all those years still playing after the ankle injury.

Yeah I know what you mean. There's something about Grant where he seems better than LeBron on some level individually or more fun to watch.. It might be his skill level in terms of moves to the basket. He's also very graceful to watch, will pass the ball sooner to a teammate. He also hustles more and really pushes it.
@sportschannel3637

@@rashb3994 It's good to find comments like these. Do you know the biggest difference between Grant Hill and Lebron? Peak Hill didn't play in the NBA post 2005, with all the rules changes that favored the offense. Had it happened, his stats would have been immense and the public's perception of his game would have been different. Much more considered. Hill was a better infiltrator than Lebron. More agile, better off the dribble, more elusive, more fun to watch. Yes, better than Lebron in what is Lebron's fort. In fact, several were (Jordan, Wilkins, Thompson, etc.), but they just weren't lucky enough to play at the right time. In today's NBA pussy. Another detail in all that is video that you see of Hill x Bulls: - Hill always destroys Pippen. Pippen was a great player, a great defender. I cheered for the Bulls. Since the 80s. I've loved Pippen, but the truth is that God Pippen only exists in Jordan haters' minds. Even as a defender, Pippen didn't have the facility to defend against some types of players. Sorry my english, it's not my native language. Ah, about the video duel, this time Grant Hill won the GOAT by a wide margin. But it was mid-April, the minds and efforts of the Bulls and Jordan were already focused on the playoffs.

Jordan got dunked on. Lol
Jordan was always talking trash but especially to his in state collegiate rival Blue Devils. At the 3:15 mark when Jordan had a turnover it looks like he said something to Hill that apparently got him fired up. Hill was a strong, nimble 1/2 and really an overmatch for Jordan in this game. On any given night he or Penny Hardaway could outplay Jordan head to head with their skill sets they had. Succubus to injuries was their downfall.

+Gene Henderson In career Head-2-Head match-ups MJ: 27/5/7 > Penny: 19/3/3 MJ 27/7/6 > G. Hill: 19/6/9 Whenever it comes to games against MJ, everyone always looks to pub up the opposing player by highlighting what they did in a FEW instances, in order to make 'em look better than what they might have actually been.
