Grant Hill, my favourite small forward along with Dominique Wilkins, so glad to see you on that stage! I instantly saw there was something in this guy when I saw him play for the Pistons during the late 90s. He was so fast, athletic, skilled, could pass and get past people. And the dunks and moves around the rim... I would have given my ankle to him if I could. I was so sad to see how that ankle almost destroyed his career. Would have wanted to see him play healthy for the Magic with TMac and dominate the East but that sadly did not happen. My all time favourite Detroit Piston. So glad to see you on that stage and in HOF!

I was blessed to meet him during the 2015 NBA All Star Weekend in New York City and I specifically talked about the alley oop dunk during the 1991 National Championship Game. He admitted that he had bad hair but still loves watching the play. If he would have stayed healthy, he would have multiple championships and possibly broken the triple double record. But his defining moment was during his senior year when he led an untalented 1993-94 Duke Blue Devils to the title game and were possessions away from beating Arkansas. This was a player who changed the game and laid out the foundation of the point forward where guys like Lebron James and Ben Simmons are taking it to a new level.

A class of his own...The sportsmanship he brings to the court was exceptional.Through many injuries he suffered still he climb it out to reach the top of the game,a virtouso with the ball, the nicest guy out there who inspired many to follow...Salute to you Mr.Hill...
God Bless you Grant Hill. Another good guy. NBA will always remember you. Classy guy. Good family man. Enjoy your wife. Enjoy your family.
The NBA's greatest role model of all time. He makes being a good person seem REALLY cool. Grrrrrraaannnt Hilll. So happy for him. Well deserved. A true basketball sensation.
I loved watching him play one of my favourite players
Thinking about Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady were on the same team gives me chills, their game, versatility, selflessness and the amazing talent. The kind of damage they could've done if healthy.
Grant sounding presidential. Got his cabinet on stage with him...

You don’t have to tell me how good he was! He was a hella of a player for sure! If it wasn’t for those injuries who knows what he could of done
These HOF speeches makes me go after my dreams everyday.
Grant Hill...one of the BEST to ever play the game. I HATE how injuries robbed him of his prime. Well deserved Mr. Hill. #salutetogreatness ✊🏾
He was a silent assassin love this guy
Grant Hill, TMac, and DRose remained healthy through their entire careers. What if...?

G Hill, class personified. If this man had a healthy ankle throughout his career you best believe he would be destined to be a top 10 all time player this guys talent was off the damn charts I've never seen such explosive crossover drives to the basket at a long 6 foot 8....dude was insane check his tapes.
Thank you Grant Hill for bringing up Isiah Thomas. A standard of excellence for sure
I love him, he is great player great speaker and great father. ❤️🇸🇦

What a class person! What a classic speech! As a 25 years Suns fan, I really think he is the best SF in Suns history, even there were Shawn Marion, Cedric Ceballos, and Michael Finley.
Mr. NICE GUY nailed that speech...gudluck into your retirement, this is 2022 and i knew u doing great with your personal life.,you always be my hero in basketball!
What a brilliant, thoughtful man. As well as a fantastic player
An excellent speech embodied with class.
This dude had top 20 all-time potential if he hadn't gotten injured. Well done Grant Hill!!
Hate I missed it Live! Definitely one of the best and probably would've been the best SF! I played bball because of this man!!! To see him go down like he did really hurt, but to see him always come back, though he was never the same, was/is inspiring me in faith and belief to never give up! Though he didn't win the individual/team accolades he won in other ways most don't! Perseverance from tragedy!!! Thank you LORD and GOD bless you Grant Hill!!!!!!!

I love watching this guy play in the 90s. MJ, Shaq, and Hill were the "unguardables" at that time. His between the legs-Crossover combo that leads to a spin move lay up or baseline dunk was unstoppable!

Never matched by ANY forward, before or since.

Not to mention he was considered to be the next Michael Jordan the first one to and that was still when Jordan was playing.
