Chicago Bulls Mix-tape... Mike was so competitive that some would call his mindset that of a psychopath, but that's what made him the greatest of all time. Watching him live was a highlight every night.

@@barsandbarbells2022 Oh, by the way, I forgot. I think a lot of the competitiveness of the Jordan era went away when they took the physicality out of the game. Physical contact gets you into competitive mode very quickly and if not, you are not build for this game. I loved the physical era of the late 80's and 90's. So many great games and match ups between players.

When he bought the Bobcats/Hornets, he used to play against the team in practice. He was 50 years old and dominating his star players. He stopped because it was hurting their confidence.

I'm old enough to have seen them both live many times in their primes, and it isn't even close. It's Jordan by a mile. Better defender, quicker, more agile, played in a more physical era. The eye test alone should settle this in anyone's mind.

Jordan's hands were huge-guy could palm a pumpkin and was pit-bull strong. Best game winning shot % in NBA history--most vicious competitor/ defender and best one-handed ball faker I've ever seen to this day. 6 out of 10 of the leauge's all-time best shot blockers played in his era, and not only couldn't they stop him, they ofen got THIER shots blocked by him! A+ in all phases of the game, he'd destroy today's NBA with ease.

As they said during that stretch, the bulls won the championship 6 out of the last 8 years. But Jordan won 6 Championships in 6 years, not 8 years, because the 2 years that the Bulls lost the championship, he was playing baseball. Since the video was about Jordan, not the bulls, per se, I think we should go with the 6 Championships in 6 years viewpoint!!

Reg season MVP, best def player, playoff MVP, reg season high score and playoff high score has been won by a single player, in one year, only four times in NBA history. Those players were Jordan, Jordan, Jordan, and yep Jordan. All four times. Honestly, Lebron would be lucky if he’s even number two.

Please also react to the Time a Non NBA Michael Jordan Dominated NBA All Stars! I graduated a year after Michael Jordan in Wilmington NC. He graduated from Laney High School in 1981 and I graduated from New Hanover High School in 1982. I saw him doing some of his moves in High School. Michael Jordan played against future professional players from New Hanover. Kenny Gattison played in the NBA for the Phoenix Suns and Charlotte Hornets. Clyde Simmons played in the NFL for the Philidelphia Eagles where he was a All pro defensive End. He played in the infamous Fog Bowl game.

MJ is the GOAT obviously 🐐 even statistically he has done more than anyone in just 14 seasons. he is the most rewarded individually. always first all time in PER and win share in regular season and playoffs. 32,292 points in 14 seasons. MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in 1988. this guy is an alien, you have to have seen him play to understand. Lebron is great no doubt, but after seeing MJ played, no one impressed me anymore. MJ has done so many amazing things that I will never see on a basketball court again.

It's not about bad defenders. Many of these games were in the finals, playoffs, or against formidable teams like the Celtics, the Detroit Pistons, or the Lakers. They tried hard and sometimes they stopped Jordan, whether through legal or illegal means. However, he adjusted his game effectively and found ways to beat them.

The one thing that most Jordan haters always seem to overlook on the "push off" is that Bryan Russell never, ever said it was a push off. He never looked towards the refs for the call. His first instincts were to call the time out ( even though the time had run out). You can see that Russell slipped, even though Jordan's hand was on him, there was no "forward push" from Jordan. That was Russell's forward momentum all along.

Most stats and analytics favor Jordan and not Lebron, especially in "per game" stats. Lebron leads in some total statistics because of longevity. MJ has the best stats per game of all time, although in today's NBA the averages per game have increased and the rules help the offense more.

According to the "Making the case" videos there are 8 players in NBA history that have a legitimate claim as the greatest ever. While Mike was great Larry Bird was the most complete player I've ever seen. Only the 3rd player to win 3 MVPs in a row along with Chamberlain and Russell. Not to mention he was the smartest clutchest player to ever step onto the court. His basketball I.Q is shown by him being the only former MVP to also be voted "coach of the year" . Then move to a front office job and be voted "executive of the year". Check him out.

Michael is definitely an athletic machine, I respect that. Larry Bird wasn’t near as athletic, but he was a basketball genius. I still feel like Bird in his prime would make Jordan ‘in his prime, look bad. Jordan would eat you up close range, Bird would pick apart anywhere. Just my opinion.

As a avid Jordan fan, to see & witness his passion for winning, compared to the NBA players nowadays... THIS level of Competitiveness is UNMATCHED. It can be said Jordan's psyche, when it comes to winning, is borderline OBSESSION...almost psycho... but, isn't that a quality of WHAT you might need for Professional Sports??? When viewing Jordan's Achievements, Statistics & Analytics, Winning Record (in its entirety), & level of Competitiveness, we see that EVEN AMONG his peers, (let's not forget, that he got nothing but GOLD in the Olympics, & college career, where he was a CHAMPION TOO), he stands ALONE. Considering that he doesn't have a EQUAL, I guess it's safe to say... he's THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY... BAR NONE. Back-to-Back THREE-PEATS where he was the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER EACH TIME... WHEEWWWwwww.... ABSOLUTELY NOBODY did THAT in the NBA. AND his willingness to take the LAST SHOT, his CLUTCH ABILITY... (Ahem)... was STILL REGARDED as LEGENDARY, ALMOST MYTH-LIKE (some say UNDISPUTED trait of his game). I will leave you both with this FACT... the NBA LEGEND, LARRY BIRD, once said of Jordan, "That's NOT Jordan playing out there, THAT IS GOD PLAYING AS MICHAEL JORDAN." I rest my case. Jordan is, & will ALWAYS BE, the G-O-A-T. PERIOD. MIC DROP 🎤.
