This prayer has helped me to remain calm and centered throughout my life. O God! Refresh and gladden my spirit. Purify my heart. Illumine my powers. I lay all my affairs in Thy hand. Thou art my Guide and my Refuge. I will no longer be sorrowful and grieved; I will be a happy and joyful being. O God! I will no longer be full of anxiety, nor will I let trouble harass me. I will not dwell on the unpleasant things of life. O God! Thou art more friend to me than I am to myself. I dedicate myself to Thee, O Lord. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Words cannot express how much Micheal Singer’s teachings have helped me in my journey and I am forever grateful … My questions for him are “Since we have our mind and in our current state isn’t our mind what tells us who we are?” In other words, “if our mind wasn’t healthy, isn’t it true that we would not have the ability to know who we really are?” if the answer to both questions is “yes” then could there be a path that cuts through all the “muck” and allows us to use our mind to connect with our creator and with ourselves?

Thank you, Michael for your words of wisdom during these turbulent times. The truth is still the truth. There are two environments; the inside and the outside. The outside we can't control but the inside is up to us. From that point do the best you can to stay "calm, centered, clear.' The real question is "Are you willing to do the best you can to use this turbulence. to evolve and let go of your lower self." Your words ring true and are greatly appreciated now more than ever.

Who is the I in me The watcher within The one aware when My mind wonders Here, there and everywhere Who with gentle breath and tender touch Stills my mind and guides me back to now Call the I what you will The East's suffering self Or the West's sentient soul Either way Does being mindful really have the power As some say To make us whole If we learn to pay attention And intentionally inhabit each moment of the day Instead of letting our minds stray And wander away

I am looking for a new home. I have had a list of wonderful apartments after another. I like them all. Part of them are sold already. I have no money but I think that when I just find the right apartment, I find the money, or a way to make money, too! I live now in the hotel in Berlin. One day I walked in the area and thought:“I‘d love to stay here! I love this place! I feel home here!“ After some days I found a small nice apartment that is on sale in this area. I went to see that street and the house from outside, get known the environment, too. What I love is that there is a public park near to the apartment. Actually: I liked everything about the apartment and the environment. Then I walked and asked myself, if this just is another target that I think is my destiny, or is this really the right one. I have liked every place I‘ve considered to be my next home! Why should this be different? I seem every time to find better targets. This is, in many ways, much better than my previous favourite. The next one would be better than this... I definetely must stop and just make a decision one day! Then I thought: Is this my mind or my heart that wants this apartment, my new home? What does my heart says? I REALAXED and listened, what kind of an answer I get. I got the thought: „All your targets have been your best homes, but your MIND blogged your way! Then I thought: What if I follow my heart now? I seemingly walk around here and let my mind dictate the end result, finding „reasons“ why to postpone actions or why in general, I am not able to do it. Besides, what do I lose if I try to go with my heart? I either get it or not and then there is no difference compared to this situation now! At that moment I clearly started to separate my mind and heart and I realised, that what has been missing is the heart-mind connection! The mind is dictating the whole story and nothing gets progressed, because the mind keeps me at the position that it has used to keep, repeating the same story all over again! After this, I went to my room and I got a total bloggage when all kind of old believes rose their head and revealed themselves. It is a battle-field! Ivwondered how before I was able to be effective but not now. When I decided to move to Germany, I took actions without thinking a lot. I was very effective and things went well like in the flow! Now, I lost my effectivity. I think that the reason is that when things did not go as I wanted, I don‘t have the same feeling to change my life randomly as I did before. I do not have the enthusiasm to get something new. I did not miss anything new and now I am forced to plan my life again. I did not needed or wanted new furnitures- now I must spend my time for that. The situation demands me to get orientated in a new way.

So I went to my local library branch a few days ago. They had just opened and I went in as if to visit an old friend. I walk out with the book The Art of Resistance My four years with the French underground by Justus Rosenberg. What struck me about this wonderful well written book as I finished it is that it was the most wonderful example of the art of surrendering. I did not expect this and it blew me away. Just sharing.

I greatly appreciate Michael's perspective and the way he presents this most important information but I have great respect for the interviewer and her very thought provoking questions. Well done!
