Ive been doing guiding lands since release, and ive checked multiple videos about it and tbh your video is the most clear , straight to the point and helpful guide about gathering steamworks fuel , everything in the video is general knowledge to me already ,but if someone asks for a guide I'll tell them to watch this vid

Is there any specific monster that's ignoring the skill? I tend to find they don't work on the flies. Also some players report the effects not working while under the effects of certain mantles like the Assassin's mantle.

The best route is Camp 3 > Coral > Rotten > Volcano > Camp 3. It's fast to get between the zones and gives just enough time for the nodes to respawn. Last festival I had to put a rubber band around my controller and wait for 2 hours to get through all the fuel. Now that some of the items are at 9999 it auto-sells them and gives you crazy amounts of money too.

I have nothing else to say but greaaaattt job! Now I can pass this video to others who constantly ask me questions regarding GL stuff and play in peace. 🤣

Thanks! That's my aim when making them, to only be as long as deemed necessary.

As always, as much this info is already out there, you do a fantastic job by summarizing the essentials of the fuel farming method and being to the point. This is something I would show my friends who are new to the game and, for better or worse, have a shorter attention span, lol. The longer videos out there are good (I like them, personally) , but I figure they are not really a fun watch to many ppl. Keep up the great work!

Glad you like it and yeah everyones taste in videos is different. While i don't lack attention span myself, i can't abide by long unnecessary videos as i have better things to do than meet someones KZread algorithm. This guide was made on the request of several viewers in some of my other videos but yeah the info has been out there for a while and originality on KZread for guides is a hard thing to come. I create videos in the way i would want to view them myself.

I was a bit confused when I first check out the steamworks & what its purpose was. I gives you rewards but in return it was asking for a lot of materials. I was like "No way, it took me forever to farm all of that. What if need some for an armor or weapon. 200 hours into the game & ive yet to try the steamworks. XD However, this video cleared up some things so thanks for that.

Could you clarify a bit on staying in the red. Do you mean we should not mine the large spawn to stay in red, or get the bar close and move on to another area. Wouldn't coming back just get the bar moving again? unless its to get more spawns of red mining spots. Great video as always! Edit: Question has been answered! thank you!!

Every time you fully mine a mining outcrop you’ll gain experience towards your outcrop level. You want to keep on mining outcrops until your experience bar reaches the red area. Once you get to that point you want to stop gaining experience so you can stay at that level. You can stop gaining experience by not fully mining a outcrop. With Lvl. 3 Geologist you can mine up to 3 times before completing it.

Seems others have already answered but the idea is to not consume all the mining hit points of each mining spot so with geology only hit 3 times leaving the 4th.

if your lucky you can get the 4th dragon vein fuel, havent yet myself. if you get lucky you can get 10x celestial prints during the overdrives

i dont want to crush some hopes but ive read on reddit that you cant get the good rarity 12 decos from the gold tickets. aswell as you cant get the mighty 4 (shield, prot polish, magazine, mighty bow). cant proof that with any data cause im not a data miner but i can say that ive burned through a lot of fuel during those events since they got us the tickets and i NEVER got one of those.

Great Video, but a post on reddit, in the monsterhuntermate subreddit, said that they tested felyne harvester for guiding lands and it doesnt work there. Nodes still need 200s to respawn.

I've spent far in excess of 200 seconds in front of nodes and they don't re-spawn unless you run a certain distance away (tested this multiple times, sometimes afk for 15+ minutes with nothing to return to). It's not a big investment to take felyne harvester anyways and i gather other stuff during this time it benefits from even if it doesn't effect the mining nodes.

Final update is coming guys. Keep this game alive as long as possible. That is all.

I think this game will far outlive it's final update. There is a lot to do and i find myself going back to older MH games even now. There is no real substitute for MH out there yet and i don't consider Dauntless to be it either (yes i've played it quite extensively).

in my honest opinion with tool specialist level 5 + assassin and ghillie mantle, eating felyne tailor buff is already overkill as im using mantle 100% of the time even without that food buff.Unless you want super fast ghillie recharge and start using it immediately. Its because of assassin mantle having a long duration and super short cooldown so it lets ghillie mantle be ready by the time you're done with assassin mantle. I usually pick felyne exchanger instead for more research points coz i kept changing layered weapons/armors so it burns thru my points.

Hehehehe I been doing this since last event the melding tickets got me my spread jewels and my guard up. After 500 hours of gametime

Congrats and yeah it's a good place for a chance at some jewels.

as a new player. the armor for the bonuses are already hard enough to get XD.

Because of the "data miners" or save editors, we know there is a 4th type of mining fuel, I don't know why they kept it as a secret, I mean when are we going to use it? Final major update has already been announced. I think now they should start giving fuel materials as quest rewards already. Also natural reserve capacity should be removed or extended.

Or they may never come at all, I actually remembered now there was materials in old MH games that was accessible only by hacking, those might have been only for the game developers or testers, who knows!!

Hmm i suppose a tip would be to reload your save file if you feel you didn't get enough during the steamworks. Other than that, go farm crazy amounts of fuel!

All up to your luck and make sure to get as many of the combos right. when there is a red glow around the buttons. You have a chance of getting 10 celestial tickets

Important note: because of some bug, nothing, absolutely nothing in Master Rank can give you a Tool specialist jewel (forgot the name). I kept 3, sold the rest in the beginning of Iceborne. Now, I still have 3 while I'm 1.5k hours in iceborne chill hunting, MR999, got 9 Agitator +4, 4 expert +4 etc (I farmed a lot) ... Tool specialist jewels are the rarest jewels in MR, keep them.
