Quick tip for the Flora Frostbite's quest. You can complete it in around 30 secs with a gathering set if you start at camp 15 turn left and hug the wall. You'll find 3 Frozen foliages 1, close to the camp and the other 2 close to each other further down near the waterfall.

To tack on, after the quest instead of going to the gathering hub/ HQ go to camp instead you skip a few loading screens saving even larger chunks of time! you lose out on the harvesting bonuses unless you count out how many missions you've done, in which case you still save a lot of loading time AND you get that harvesting done super fast too.

I'm mostly a fan of the whetfish fins + quest simply because it allows me to make melee builds differently if i'm not going to run out of them.

As far as I can tell this quest doesn’t award vip tickets anymore

It wasn't what I was looking for but it was what I needed. Great farm method. Quick and easy explanation. Well done.

The fish you'll want to whet your apetite is the one with the fin outside of the water ^^

Since the developers just announced their final update for the game (fatalis) does this mean since I just started I wont be able to get that astral, space armour, ect? Although they said with this final update all layered armour sets would be unlocked too, I'm assuming that means as soon as I get layered armour I can equip LITTERALLY any and all of them including astral?

The final update to the game just refers to there not being any new content beyond what we will get but older fests and events will continue to be cycled through so you will get your chance to gather everything given time.

I'm at a loss. I've got the full Astral set equipped for the level 5 appreciation blessing thingamajig. I've done the flora quest exactly 20 times now with no VIP ticket reward. Am I missing something or was this method patched out?

Many players will recommend the flora quest and while i've shown it can be a fast one i also prefer the "whetfish" quest instead and for whatever reason my drop rate there seems to be superior. Give it a try!

Zodd Sonofthor I’m an advocate for item prolonger/sharp jewel with the wet fish plus item over using kaiser for most setups. Sometimes I’ll use the razor sharp charm if I can fit it in with everything I want. Optimizing and being a little creative with setups is a big reason why I enjoy the replay value this game has imo

Honestly gold alchemy tickets are not worth it, max rarity is 11 and its even locked to some specific decos like Elemental attacks+, status attacks+ or elemental resistances+. Only worth it if you need rare 10 decos or lower.

RNG is RNG but i found the whetfish one to have had better rates myself. Your mileage may vary.

The tickets are random but if you are doing it correctly (using the outfit and farming MR or helping SOS) you will see tickets eventually.

Use the reward luck set from Kirin.

You're more likely to get the tickets with the Joy's Gift and Gratitude.

It's a random chance but has to be master rank quests. Or joining SOS low ranks. Unless there is a bug you should be getting them but not every time.
