Even though this game's been out for a year I still consider myself new. This is the first MH game I played and when I looked up the previous ones I was and still extremely disappointed that they butchered the weapon designs. ESPECIALLY for the new monsters that came in world we're never gonna know what they truly look like because of what they did.

@@VirgAlexJunchurrikithat's why i kinda want to see crit draw GS runs pop up at some point. The velkhana set lets you focus on elemental damage, so you can use a ton of different swords. Using the fish, kirin, rathalos, coral pukei, and blackveil vaal great swords is way more fun than the acidic glavenous GS over and over again. It's only tolerable on other weapons because the acidic glavenous weapons usually look fantastic.

If you play solo greatsword youll get same results. When solo monsters flinch every hit pretty much or part breaks

You got thru the first phase like if it was building demolition 😆 awesome run

The scream and music fit together really well

if your plate farming you need to break the head twice. some of her scalp falls allowing you two free carves, typically scalp with a low chance of a gem.

this monster looks awesome

- watches speedrunners use greatsword - gets inspired to play greatsword - not as sexy as speedrunner plays - changed to healer GS user - nice

The eyes actually track the camera, not the hunter(s), so it's ALWAYS looking at YOU, the player, no matter where the hunter is.

@@jc-cl5ff iz done, and I'm gonna take back my word, Zorah GS is awesome against Shara. Raw difference not that high (Acidic win), affinity minus (we can use agitator and palico buff to make up for it), and blast, 600 each proc, could outdamage Acidic GS. Still early conclusion since I kinda hope Acidic GS beat the run.

Shara with this coat broken off looks like a creature from my nightmares

I'm wondering why some of the weapon types got the bone treatment. It makes me a little disappointed since I played MHGU and literally every weapon looked so cool and vibrant.

cous they desided that MHW and Iceborne should be more about the realism, Rise will go back to the original weapon designs. The "bits on stick" as I like to call em was a deliberate decision by the team creating MHW at the time. :) One year to late but now u know ;)

best affinity we can get with brute is 80%, and since its r12 there's no mod, by default, it's already loosing in term of both raw attack and affinity against acidic. I'm gonna use brute tiggy gs in my next hunt then.

Preydator You could use MM 5 for 100% affinity (and take protective polish). Or make a Crit Draw build (since affinity is less problematic) with Velkhana’s set. Thanks for the answer btw!

I wish they added valstrax to next DLC monster, it will be a logic upgrade for ROCKET POWERED GREATSWORD. or maybe having new event that have upgrade material/ ticket and maybe having same or upgraded visual. They even not implement the weapon of contest winner of Iceborne weapon design.

@@loafofbread9400 Lol, I used a modified Drachen set for most of MR 1 to 3. Then, I moved to Teostra Gamma armor to take advantage of MR Armor Defense, and I used that to fight Shara Ishvalda. Finally fought MR Teostra to get that massive defense boost that I have been sorely lacking.

@@loafofbread9400 I just suck at this game. Wasn't really the case in base World, but Iceborne's new mechanics has really screwed my game sense. I always end up getting hit after using the clutch claw. So the added defense is great. Not to mention that endgame monsters do more damage, so the added defense is great. Not to mention the greater offensive skill potential that MR armor has. I have been meaning to use my lvl 4 jewels and now I can.

This monster so dang adorable.

I did some testing and found that doing a lvl 3 charge first then lvl 1 strong charge into a TC is stronger than 1,3,3 it’s like a 200 damage difference

Hrmm supposedly maximum handicraft are wasting the jewel slot because 3 pieces of kaiser can activated the master touch which is the maximum of handicraft already
