Now a gun is what you use to shoot your target to deal damage. Shooting is when you pull the trigger on a gun. Damage is when you injure a target decreasing how much health they have left."

Hey fallout, quick note about the first encounter: The "starting plate" is always in the room where the overload spawns. Remember before the first tormentor where the voerload is and it makes finding the start plate easy.

So we actually had an overload on each side once and we found it’s whoever kills theirs first that gets their plate active first, cus it will cause the 2nd one to despawn

I found it helpful on the 2nd encounter to have everyone do 2 circuit cycles once buff starts, break it and then send 3 people to the middle. Leave all resonances on the ground. After they get valor, they can go to their plate and call the shape. Then they grab 2 to 3 of their shape, the sender goes up the other side and grabs the other shape. Then reveiver tells sender to send and everyone closes. This mininizes resonance waste.

Yep. We had one person grab Pyramid and one grab Sphere and whichever one had whatever was on the totem was the closer. Made it much more relaxed, especially on left side which is its own jumping puzzle.

Something that my team did on the Herald encounter. we had a lot of trouble with adds after we got the favor. We did plates and spawned the residence buffs before we got the favor buff from the boss. the adds don't spawn until after the boss gives you stolen favor. You will have to fight the mini boss but while the team in the middle is dealing them the Herald the other can kill the mini boss and then pick up the buff they need.

A point regarding the banks in encounter 1-3. They’re not finicky, they’re misunderstood. The first time anyone banks, it’ll take a single resonance off them and lock the bank for a couple seconds. This is done to give you an immediate time extension before the rest of the resonances can be banked and add up time. After the first person banks, wait a couple seconds, then everyone else can bank seamlessly (including the original banker, if they had more than 1 resonance they’ll need to bank again)

The only tip I have is to have one designated "leader" call out the Witness attacks during damage phase or for other important information. If everyone is trying to call out, it can get really chaotic as voices overlap and some people will miss out on the callout and die. For the rest of the fireteam, you have to trust your leader and quietly move according to the instructions so you don't distract others or cause panic.

Really edging my salvation with this one

Ursa titans can make the witness DPS like any old sit and shoot DPS phase No jump no movement needed

If you’re on still hunt for DPS, you should be a runner and use an eager edge sword for your heavy. I was easily doing 3 hands, sometimes covering a 4th if the other runner messed up or died. It also lets you get to back of the map to have the best angle of the resonance cruxes when you need to make the shape.

When suppressed from failing the shape check in encounter 5, can you use mountaintop to still avoid the attack?

First enc isn't a number dunked to clear but just three rounds of dunks. Third round can be only one resonance if it comes to it..

Note for encounter 1 : When locking, you can shoot the lock early when they say sent, then step on to lock normally when the charge gets into the plate.

I watched both Datto and Mactics' guides on this as well and I want you know that yours is WAY better. The Sequence and (especially) Pacing of how you choose to explain mechanics is significantly better and you always have properly matching footage in the video that correspond with what you are talking about (Something Datto's guides do poorly) in that exact moment. I think you have a way stronger understanding of how the average Raider thinks. The fact that yours is so much Shorter despite having better explanations speaks volumes to how much unnecessary filler and repetition is in other guide maker's videos. If you weren't late in dropping your video you'd probably have the most views.

This is epic on all levels all encounter explained with correct and brilliant information that's on point. Other videos 1 hour 15 min of talk utter nonsense which was confusing.

For the witness encounter, any chance does bannershield titan protect you and your team from the witness' attacks? I have managed to completely nullify damage from these for myself in exicision with the new titan aspect block.

Just making sure on my end, all 6 players should be picking up resonance in the first 3 encounters?

if your not the one locking totems on the 3rd encounter does it matter what shape you pick up?

The chest isn't garbage. Only one person can dunk at a time. If you are holding interact, and someone else is already in the process of dunking, when they finish dunking, it will reset your interact. Best to dunk one person at a time. I had a team all crowding around the chest and getting killed by the witness. Establish a dunk order, and do that. I have also seen some people saying that after the first person dunks, everyone else can dunk, but let one person dunk first. This will require a little more testing but that makes sense to me and is probably correct. During the second encounter, if you fail the plate mechanic, the symbol on your totem can change. You need to always be aware of what the symbol is. Ideally you don't fail the plate mechanic at all in this fight, but with the stasis enemies that spawn, that can be very difficult. Just be aware that the symbol can change if you mess up the plate mechanic and have to kill a mini-boss.

My team noticed that after the first person dunked, there was a couple second delay before anyone else could dunk. After that delay is over, the message "The altar hungers for your offering" appears, and everyone can dunk at the same time without any issue.

On The Witness encounter idk if this is lore significant but if you plug the resonance spikes into the actual Flower Game all of those patterns instantly die.

Just know Fallout.. ALOT of Guardians were able to Attack the witness or Defeat this weekend because of you ❤️

So how many plates need activating in each encounter? Just 2? Or 2 per team?

Encounter 3. Collect 3 of what is closest to you, then have middle totem closer swap their side (while continuing the bounce). They close their tower, and the remaining 2 players swap and close theirs. Deliberately spawning Omens is a bad habit that will bite back in master.

Another important note about the resonance deposits for the first three encounters: the timer doesn't extend immediately upon deposit. If you notice when the chest spawns in the first encounter, there's a portal above it that the resonance travels up through before the timer extends. So if you've cooked the Subjugator and spawned the chest with, like, four seconds to spare and you think you're saved, I got bad news.

Added note, the Overload champion's room identifies the resonance conductor room. In the first encounter that is.

Hey Fallout! Just letting you know that the chest is finnicky because you can only dunk when the "Give" symbol appears on the top of the chest. I think it may be glitched because the first person to dunk will only add 20 seconds to the counter in the first encounter, and it resets the chest so the rest of the players need to wait until the "Give" symbol comes back. Sometimes that first player is only deducted one resonance, or is deducted all of them, but the chest will mention "The altar hungers for your offering" when its ready for EVERYBODY to dunk! Also you can tell which side will get the overload champion in the first encounter because they will have the stasis Attendants. While the other side will have strand Weavers

It's either bugged or the first person's Dunk is just supposed to "Open" the chest for the others to Dunk all their resonance. As for the "Give" system, if it isn't a bug then I think it might be implemented simply to prevent any and all Dunk duplication glitches that players might come up with.

@@bunndumm that's true, I just find it weird that sometimes it will take two or three resonances and only give the minimum 20 seconds. But it was wildly inconsistent so I won't really chalk that up to an actual problem until I see it regularly happening to other people. But yea as it stands now, one person needs to "open" the chest with a resonance, and once the prompt shows up above the super bar/the "Give" symbol appears on the chest, that's when you're able to dunk

Two notes on encounter 1: The starting plate for the ping-pong section will always be in the room that the overload champ died in. Also take note that both teams might get an overload if one team is being a bit slow. 2: You can also shoot the conduit to close it at anytime after you send the ping back to the starting player if you know you want to close it next time, it doesn't need to be close to you standing on the plate

There is a use for titans on final encounter. Banner shield works!!!! Everyone will have to jump but the titan but it does mostly block the other darkness blasts. WE HAVE A USE!!!

Great video but in 3rd encounter why do you call it hexagonal when there's only 4 sides

It's not that the golden chest in the encounters is finnicky, it's that only one person can dunk at a time and once one person does, there's a second or so where no one can dunk. So if you started a second after another of your teammates, they will finish first and your prompt will disappear.

Easier method for 2nd encounter is to ping-pong b4 you get stolen favor. Ping-pong a few times let it fail. Kill the yellow bar. Get stolen favor come back grab your resonance and ping-pong once to close it. This makes it so you don't have to deal with adds while you're ping-ponging and collecting resonance. You will have an add spawn when you close it out and that's it.
