The only thing I'd change about the hc is the sight. I love the way it feels (I have Rangefinder and explosive payload) but I wish it had like steady hand sights

I’m mainly happy that it has Slice (or Demo) with Hatchling for PVE since Kept Confidence mainly had PvP Perks.

I think perpetual motion is like the best perk for this hc, with small bore accurized and range mw you get 69 stability, 67 range and 60 handling

everything else being what it is still gotta love the noise of that thing

I like the sound. I also liked the sound of Duke Mk.44 a lot but they haven't brought that back yet , that I know of

Duke has the same sound as austringer and Lunas howl. Better devils same as steady hand and true prophecy.

I think enhanced perpetual motion is a great perk to hunt for on this weapon, to easily compensate for the lack of base stats.

Going for explosive and rangefinder, any range I can get

Try using the () or (,.) keys on pause, just don't know what keyboard layout you have to see frame by frame. His response is incredible. Took all of about 5 frames.

I've been using Better Devils since the beta. I have an Outlaw + Kill Clip roll from Forsaken that's been my go-to in everything besides Trials. It feels way better than its stats imply.

I have max range enhanced elemental capacitor and perpetual motion. 70 range, 69 stability. Feels super good to use on void.

You can get rapid hit/zen moment on this but I haven’t gotten a good 3rd column perk yet the best one I got so far is a demo/frenzy for PvE

I love it in PvE, bc Prismatic and Swashbuckler. For PvP, it feels great but youre facing literally a crafted Austringer at baseline in terms of Kinetic choices

I've went through hundreds of these things looking for perpetual motion, zen moment, accurized and hammer-forged with a range masterwork. I feel like this hand cannon can compete you just need the best one, I've come close to getting it settled on a roll with smallbore/reload masterwork for rn

Yeah, 70 range with zen and the amount of stability you can get, definetly lets it hang, but honestly. I'm thinking Austringer is just far superior, you could go MAX range and still have 69 stability. The stats on that thing are nuts

I dont think i used a hc with nadir focus origin trait. Cuz its the only one despite the many models being reused.

Cork/accurized and range masterwork is only 65 range and 45 handling. Unless you enhance, then it would add stats but 75/57 is not possible on this thing unless you use elecap with an Arc super. Enhanced EC and Fullbore would be 75/80.The only way to get 75 range is with full bore and that leaves you with 32 stab and 35 handling.

I'm farming for moving target, zen moment personally. I want smallbore, acc, range mw/stability. I'm gonna be using ophidians on all classes anyways so handling isn't too much of an issue for me. Range and stability are fire.

I've got a god roll Better Devils that you might really enjoy if you want to take it for a spin. Smallbore/Hammer Forged, Accurized, Perpetual, Zen Moment, and a range mw. I went ahead and enhanced it and it feels like a more crispy version of Austringer honestly. It doesn't take long for the first stack of Perpetual to kick in and the second one comes shortly after. You don't really have to change how you play to keep the stacks once they're up either, so it's basically a free +20 to handling, stability, and reload. It pretty much entirely fixes the bad stat package and Zen Moment makes it a monster for duels. Lmk if you want to take it for a spin!

Playing against you and Panduh must have sucked this weekend

Better Devils needs to take notes from Kept Confidence, since that has a pretty juicy stat package. Plus I prefer revolver models as well as the heavy bass sound of Kept Confidence, so I think I'm passing over this one.

You can dump range now with ophidian cloak.

Just use Luna howl with Luna perk and high stability u can still get it in onslaught mode

I still think this weapon needs a 15+ stat buff to compete

The way you can move on mouse and keyboard is insane. Moving this fast while ADS on controller is just impossible. Prime example of why cross play should be an option for console players.

The funny thing is that with prismatic it's the second or third best stat'd 140 in the game. Elemental capacitor on void to handle stability, opidian on your class item to boost handling, hammer-forged/accurized/range mw. Preferably perpetual for even more stats.

It really does feel like they made it a PVE weapon this time around. This thing absolutely RIPS with Threaded Spike and Facet of Bravery. Good for a Gunpowder build as well with Hatchling.
