Pushing the articulation really showed the true range. Batbomb did a review and didn't show off ab crunch like this. He also didn't raise the arms laterally all the way. Definitely impressed with articulation on a turtle figure, especially from Mezco, who often leave me a little disappointed when it comes to articulation.

I feel mezco will release another pack of accessories. Like ooze canister(s) a skateboard for mikey (missed opportunity), maybe a bike for raph. So much can be done with this set. Probably gonna release more with the Casey set, or a future figure like a shredder. I will say it now, I will buy Shredder, Splinter, Casey, April, Bebop and Rocksteady.. I will buy them ALL.

Whatever is on the box they come in is Mezco's portrayal of those specific comic style turtles. So these would be eastman and laird comic turtles. Just done in Mezco style.

I had the same issue with the knee pad on their bishop figure, I snapped it trying to flip them over (they came upside down)… but I just threaded back in and superglued it to the back of the knee pad and then popped it back on, done. The little opening where the band goes is such a soft plastic too that feels like it would break but it held well

Excellent review. In addition to the 3 concerns you mentioned, I have 2. The first is the heavy use of elastic bands on multiple locations on each figure. Over time that elastic will dry up and lose that elasticity, which means the elbow and knee pads and belts will no longer form fit and slide off. Also, I think that four trench coats/hats should have been included, rather than just one for Raph. I hope they put out an accessory kit containing those needed trench coats/hats as well as one more Raph head. Anyway, I think the figures look amazing. I’m currently on the Wait List with Mezco to get them. Cheers!

I find it interesting that in the promo pics leo has cross straps yep they ended up changing it to the symmetrical duel straps probably in reference to his 2012/ 90s version

I just watched it and i gotta say GREAT VID man! In fact, seeing them in yur hands has changed my opinion of this set & tipped my scales firmly into the zone of approval. Until now they seemed too small or ill-proportioned in body shape, but yur exhibition cleared that up for me. I now completely appreciate this set, pricey tho it is. I almost bought them but decided that was just outside my realm of affordability and am happy to have gone all-in on the Toon Line instead of cherry picking from other TMNT lines.

I love what Mezco has done with it. The feet and fists are bit big for my liking, but at that size they could have at least added a toe joint. Then the price point feels a bit tall for the offering to me.

These are the greatest TMNT figures ever. There a combination of old school Mirage and the cartoon seires turtles.

Unfortunately, paying off all of my medical debt has to come first since payments need to be monthly, and paying all of those on time is hard enough without having an extra 450 to account for. It just sucks that fans have to miss out on something they love so much just because they can't afford to pay 400+ dollars for four action figures. ::sigh:: I absolutely love these things, but it makes me physically sick to see them here and know that I'll never own them. 😞

No Donnie is the tallest slightly and the timber of all of them. Mikey is the shortest. Raph and Leo are about in between the 2 but Raph is for sure the beefier between him and Leo

При чем это есть и в других наборах, к примеру серия miracle comics от neca, где есть две разные модификации черепашек ( больше и меньше ), но к сожалению у всех черепах этой серии супер опухшие ноги, как и у серии черепах от mezco, как и серии черепах от fury toys ( samurai turtles). У всех этих серий огромнейшие ноги. Они же не деревья))) Как можно прыгать и драться с такими большими ногами? Самые лучшие модели черепашек с адекватными ногами - это модели из по первой части фильма 1990 года, где у всех не только нормальные ноги, но и разные лица и характер ( у моделей из фильма 1990 года - секрет слизи, уже одинаковые идеальные мимишные лица, но это не интересно), но отмечу что очень оригинальна серия turtles - monsters ( из этой серии очень удачны Мумия Микеланджело и Человек невидимка Донателло) По атмосфере мира черепах - это атмосфера в фигурках от mirage comics, где сплинтер хоть и маленький ( 9 сантиметров в высоту), но какой эпичный, как будто из 90-х годов. Так что у черепах от mezco, neca - mirage comics и fury toys ( samurai turtles) большие опухшие ноги.
