Ya know...there was a fighter pilot TMNT action figure WAY back in the day. To go along with the Bubble Bomber toy they put out, which I actually HAD that Bubble Bomber toy back in the day...drove my mom and step-dad nuts with it cause the smoke fluid for it smelled nasty. So I think all their costumes are references to older toys like the Leo one you pointed out, Donny had an outfit like Mikey is wearing for the Cave Turtles line back in the 90s, he also had the Pro Pilot uniform from the Military Mutants line...so Raph and Mikey got some costumes that Donny wore back in the 90s for the old Playmates TMNT lines.

OH, at 4:31 there is a sign saying "I love toidles" I think it's a call back to how bebop or rocksteady pronounced "turtles" in the 87 show

I thought Samari Leo could have been a throwback to TMNT 3.

I don't know if this is a hot take, but I kinda like the art style of this show compared to Mutant Mayhem. Maybe it's just me, but I think 2D really does bring out the best of these designs. Even April, who's look I wasn't the biggest fan of got a bit of a glow-up here.

1:50 could be part of the title sequence where they make changes based on what's been happening in the show. 2013 series did that and paid homemade to the Mirage comics too. X-Men 97 has really leaned into doing that. I hope they do because it's such a cool way to use the title sequence though it obviously cuts into animation budget.

1: Why is it that after the Nickelodeon 2012 TMNT show, people want to flandrize the teenage part? News flash people: While they may appear to be the human equivalent of teenagers, that doesn't mean they're going to have coincidentally the same interests that teenagers stereotypically do and also Turtles age differently than humans. These guys could be older than they look And 2: Am I the only one who actually understands that it's not entirely b******* that these guys and their dad learned how to fight from reading books and watching TV when that stuff only serves as the foundation and the basis? They have hadseveral years of trial and error and training to make this not seem ridiculous. It's like how the DC super villain Bane learned. Also Splinter nose a large portion of what he does just by mimicking when a person did

Also to be fair 2003 had Splinter learning martial arts by watching someone else do them, mind you this was when Splinter was just a normal unmutated rat. Atleast Mutant Mayhem Splinter was already mutated when he learned martial arts.

The series won't be out until July 2024 - September 2024 also, Rise is still coming back in June 8th 2024 So, this was only a new teaser when the real thing starts when Summer is here & soon Rise of the TMNT return trailer in May 2024 hopefully when that happens from the Petitions Instagram never lies nor the creators and writers they still have Petitions for Rise returning on Netflix There's even still a chance Tales of the TMNT may have cross over with Rise - 2012 - 1987 - 1984 - 2007 - 2003 - 2014 & more Let's just wait for more Announcements for both shows to start up on Netflix & Paramount +

You know considering that this is a follow-up to the movie having the whole series center on the turtles being split up before reuniting at the end of the season will make an interesting story arc. Also I have a feeling that it'll take two seasons before the film sequel gets released.

We all have our opinions, so I want to vent. I truly disliked the recent Mutant Mayhem because we lost the simplistic plot of good vs evil. So many tertiary concepts being involved that the message was lost. Variety in characters is awesome, but too much variety -- similarly -- helps lose the message. I've not been a fan of the Mutant Mayhem launch and thus the rant. #nohate

Idk... im just craving for that Tmnt 2003 style.. This is just corny stuff.. maybe i should give it a chance idk..

80s 90s and Y2K turtles were the coolest. It hasn't been the same after 2006 but originally turtles haven't been as cool after 1997. 1996 on down were probably the best era of turtles that's just me

Turtle Den, Do you think we will get another TMNT animated series after Rogen's era has ended in next couple of years? Because the Last Ronin movie is coming out at the same time where the sequel to MM came out, I wonder another anime will come out at that time. I remembered it had happened when RoTMNT came out after 2012's TMNT had ended. That would be awesome and wonderful that the next series will be the animated adaption of IDW comics after Tales of The TMNT.

i was hoping they adress a split up moment , as i wonder the turtles going to highschool they find themselves split into differe t cliques and leo dealing without the guys as he wants to continue fighting crime , but finds that they are splitting. up.

I'm super excited for this series but I just wish they would give us a release date already. I'm way to hyped for this series, it looks well paced and I'm curious to see how long each episode is going to be like if its 11 minute or 22 minute episodes.

It got changed to July from April 2024 won't be out for a while but Rise of the TMNT is still coming out in June 8th on Netflix for the return the Petitions are really going up and the show will reach to Victory for S3 as we know it

I had to watch it again, to be more critical this basically is not for me because there too different from the core of the ninja turtles. If I want to enjoy the original stuff I will, not the retelling that has been homogenized for younger current day viewers. Modernized anything is not the way 😅 Think would the retelling of Romeo and Juliette with Leo d. Comes to mind 😂 This is cute but could be something I show my Lil nephew but honestly I'm not a fan of this art style or the portrayal of kid turtles or retellings that's just me. In my mind the things already created can age gracefully over time they can even advance the story but to try and piggyback on somethings fame or basis is kinda hollow in my opinion 🤔

April did get a makeover for this show

I'm still baffled that they turned April into a completely different character.. I find that extremely disrespectful to the creators of the franchise
