I’m so glad I found your channel I found you on TikTok first, and I’m obsessed with all the food you make, your kids are so lucky to have a mom that cooks bomb food for them. I’m going to try a lot of your recipes now that I have a lot of time during this quarantine.

Glad that I am able to help 😘
Not only does Jasmine rice stay intact it also adds a flowery scent to it and it's very delicate and light tasting whether one is making white, Mex, or Spanish style. Love it!
I’m so glad I found you!! My mom is a single mother and she works a lot so she can’t teach me how to cook my favorite meals. But thanks to you I can cook home Mexican meals for my family!! ❤️

Wow 👍❤️ it's really cool 2 hear a young women wanting & learning 2 cook. I had a conversation with this young girl that said she didn't want 2 learn how 2 cook😢Because she's nobody's maid. I said it's not about being any1's maid🤦 it's 4 urself. 4 u 2 cook & eat yummy food because we don't always have money 2 go out.
you remind me so much of my mom. I miss her so much 🥺

Isn’t it comforting to come watch recipes and remember our loved ones. I miss my mom too.
I’m one of the ones that uses cumino. Both my grandma’s used it. They were from way different parts of Mexico. I told my grandkids that Mexico’s culture is similar to ours in that we may eat the same foods, but different regions cook them differently and it’s all good!
Your rice looks so good! Siempre me sale el arroz either Mojado o Quemado. I’m going to try your recipe & wish me luck!

Hi Jenny! This is similar to my way of making my Mexican rice...¡delicioso! 🥰
I made this for my kids this evening! Yum!
I tried this recipe the other day and my girls and husband love it 😍
I just found you on Instagram, and oh boy! Your one of the old fashion cooks that every family members wants to visit! I can only imagine how delicious it tastes 😋👍🏼💕 My Precious Mamita was also a wonderful cook.... Thank You so much for sharing these amazing meals. May God Bless You Always 🙏🏻
I have been using Jasmine Rice for many years. It's very aromatic and tastes delicious. I put a spin on mine, it's a secret so I can't tell you, but oh my greatness, my husband absolutely loves the way I make it which is almost similar to yours only I don't use fresh tomatoes, simply because I thought you always had to boil them. When I did try it a couple of times that way, the tomatoes are so soft my Ninja Blender just chops it all so nicely. Mexican rice is the hardest to cook when you're not sure what you're doing. Now that I know, it's always 2 cups of rice = double the amount of liquid, period point blank, then let it simmer for 20-25 mins. I'll have to try it your way Jenny to see if it's better than the way I'm doing mine now and just add my secret at the same time of the liquid. Thx for sharing your wonderful recipes!
THANKS JENNY.SURE LOOKS DELICIOUS!
Thank you so much. You are wonderful.
Thank you sooo much! Best Easy to Follow Recipes! Since you don't give exact measurements I play them over and over, and try to guess (lol) so far everything I have made has been delicious!

Yeny Membrano asked what kind of oil Jenny used...it is shortening, which is also known as lard (also called manteca, in Spanish), in liquid form. Although you can use any preferred cooking oil, lard may be a preferred choice because the flavors in given recipes are enhanced 🥰

Hey Jenny!!! Found you on TikTok and I love your energy!! You seem like a wonderful woman and friend. I have a question! What is the benefits of using the liquid shortening? Does it make the food taste better?
Going to try this. Btw, I have the same spoon me rest.
Hey jenny love your videos!! Do you have a recipe for Chile verde I was looking to see if you've shown a video already maybe I missed somewhere.
Needed this, I can never get my rice right… need more practice. Thank you ❤️
👋 New subscriber I watched your chili relleno and rice recipe. 👍❤❤❤
My sister would boil the tomatoes because they blend more easily in the blender. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
TikTok brought me to your channel ♥️
Oh my mom and my grandma who are in heaven now. They would to make the rice like that but, they never blended the tomato but then everybody has their own way of making the rice Mexican rice. 2 cups of rice which you would add 4 cups of water my mom and my grandma would add the onion and the tomato and the garlic all together when they were put water in the rice and of course you have to make sure your rice is fried golden so they could come out nice and fluffy. They will season it with salt onion and garlic powder of course and then they would let it cook the way you’re doing it for 25 minutes and cover it up. I am so glad that you have your KZread channel and I don’t have to be stocking your TikTok to see what else you’ve made. Hello From El Paso Tx

Make sure you use a long grain rice. Short grain and medium grain are stickier. I’ve also noticed that after cooking you should let the rice rest foray least 5 minutes before mixing it up. Hope that helps! 💕
Jenny how do you clean your casserole pot ..?
What is the liquid manteca you use?

What kind of Manteca do you use?
How can i add pasta or fideito to that rice?

What kind of rice did use
A mi gusto, lo miro algo crudo todavia. Falto poquito mas de agua. O que despues de apagar la llama de la estufa lo dejara reposar un poco mas en su propio vapor. Pero aparte de eso. Se mira delicioso 😋
Im confused with the shortening. Im following this and your Birria recipe and you use liquid shortening. is that just vegetable shortening melted? please help! I'm doing this recipe for Christmas Eve
Well roasting your rice in oil I like to add a half of bunch of cilantro and two cloves of garlic!!! I love cilantro
No salt?

Heat is either too high after you combined all ingredients and or you need a better pan that distributes heat more evenly. Try reducing heat first.
