13 years ago I heard this song on the radio, I went home and looked up this video. I then went on to watch every video of theirs I could find and read every tid bit of information about them I could find, within a couple of hours I was obsessed. In the early evening I went to get some dinner at the pub near my house and picked up the local events paper. Mew were playing that very night in town. So off I went to the show, Within a day I discovered Mew, consumed everything, and in the height of my new obsession saw them play live in a tiny club, very trippy day.

I was introduced to this band through International Music Feed (the TV show), but the show was taken down along with the station after only running for three years. I'm from the USA, and there are so many international bands/artists that I would not have even known existed if it weren't for that show. Now, I don't see Mew anywhere other than KZread, and that's because I actually KNOW to look for them.

Chioma Ojini they played the states in 2015. I caught them on that tour. it was magical. they're probably going to tour this year as well seeing as they have a new album coming out in April. this band needs to be bigger here, they're huge in Europe and everywhere else. if you want to keep up with them, join the Frengers group on FB. that's what I did.

That voice is sweet, deep and beautiful. One of my favourite tracks of MEW. Plus this is one of my private bands wich I enjoy much more being alone.

The best thing MTV has ever done is play this video on MTVU in my University dining hall... that is how I discovered this band. to this day still one of my favorites, and easily one of the most criminally underrated bands of all time

im a frenger since like, what, 5years ago. i watched MEW live two times and actually it was just two days ago they had a show in my country (Jakarta, INA) i always have this feeling that i cant describe with words everytime i see them live, theyre beyond amazing. even after a hundred shows and in a hundred years i would still go to their concert. This song is so infectiously catchy. The music video defiantly delivers a beautiful visual. A masterpiece from an underrated band.

This song is very addicting and nice subtle time signature change. These guys are brutally underrated and sadly no one where I live in the states have even heard of them.

SoySauce HairDye I don't think it's a bad thing. They have their "fan" base, these people love their music. Look what happened to Coldplay. They were truly genius and now it's a regular pop music you can't tell one from another. Honestly Coldplay stopped existing for me after duet with Beyoncé.

This music video and song captured my musical imagination as an angsty 16 year old watching the indie music show on Fuse at 11 pm...and it still does. I'm 33 now, and I've been in a band called rincs for five years; we have two songwriters, but when the songs start with me, I can really hear Mew's influence

I only found out in about 2009 because of Pokémon. (Mew was the first pokémon registered and yet it was after the band was created, so the band was first.)

I remember hearing this song because the radio station I listened to would play the top ten most illegaly downloaded songs and this was always somewhere on the list. Same with "love me or hate me".

Gotta say, it's real weird to not have this song immediately followed by Zookeeper. Still love it though

Still rocking this in 2024. I randomly bought "...and the Glass Handed Kites" based on the sticker on the front "If you like MUSE" and fell in love with them. Being in the US they rarely, if ever, tour here. I was lucky enough to see them perform live when they opened for Nine Inch Nails at the Hollywood Paladium. The very same night NIN played The Downward Spital in it's entirety. Got lucky twice that night.
