YES! HE is one of the most UNDERVALUED drummers in the world. The DISJOINTED-SOUNDING GROOVE he plays in "INTRODUCING PALACE PLAYERS" Isn't as disjointed as it actually sounds - because he is simply (difficultly but easy for him) rapidly changing between triplet 16ths and straight 16th notes... but EVERY TIME, he manages to hit the 1 and 3 perfectly. amazing.

Scandinavia suffered a blackout suppression of bands around that time. Madrugada, Mew, Bigbang, Saybia, Kaizers Orchestra, Kent all would have been a hundred times better to have on the radio than fucking Snow Patrol, Embrace or Keane. Especially Keane. EMI Music didn't give a shit about you if you weren't from the UK or Scotland.

They flew to Jakarta just a few hours after their gig in Summer Sonic, Japan. So we don't care whether they were using a sequencer or effin ableton track. All we care about is their presence here in Jakarta.

So underrated!! Why? This is gold 🌟

2022 always in my mind

I was there. For long i heard them on cassete. And when i hear them will play on JRL, i speak to my self whatever happen i must go there, watching them live. And amazing feelings when the band that you are adore so is playing in right front of you, i cant believe in my self, i was so happy. And i was in sick/fever in that time but i still go there hahahaa. I still remember the details 😁.

Everything they DO is a Masterpiece. Listen to ZOOKEEPER'S BOY, and INTRODUCING PALACE PLAYERS ... THAT has the strangest groove I've ever heard.

Bagus banget mau nangis... setiap detail drum apapun itu keren banget ini suara rekaman livenya 🥲

Not many reasons left to be proud of being Danish. But one of the few reasons to feel pride in my heritage and country is Mew..
